Hey Blues Fans!!! I have a massive question regarding Paul Bower. Has a career average of 60 and only played 3 games last year. I know he was injured last year but how is he going this pre season? Any chance to break into the 22?

He may break in the team, but will not score well. If this is regarding dreamteam look for a player like Lake who is similar price.

Haha, I was only joking.  I was being literal as the title should have read "Help, Carlton Fans".  The way he worded it sounded like he wanted us to help all Carlton fans. :P

IMO, will only break into team if we're hit with a few injuries down back. Watson and I wouldn't even be surprised if Pat McCarthy if playing well is given a run before Bower. I don't mind him but we recruited a few taller options last year that i'm sure they would put ahead of Bower if they could....time (and form) will tell!! ;D

Carlton will play Bower, either they will give him games to increase trade value or to give him incentive to stay.
Or they think he is a valuable part of their backline.

Sorry MGK1. Can't agree with ANY of your sentiments....
1. Can't see them playing someone to increase their trade value over putting their best team on the park to win games!
2. Don't think they will give him an incentive to stay seeing he either him or Setanta they were going to offload to GWS, and
3. For the above reasons I don't think they think he is a valuable part of their backline - more a valuable part of their DEPTH in the backline.
