Fremantle remain "hopeful" that 2010 best-and-fairest winner David Mundy will be fit for their round one clash with Geelong but have acknowledged that he is unlikely to play in the NAB Cup.

Mundy has a good endurance base due to having done many pre-seasons (drafted in 2003) but any player is gonna struggle early on without a pre-season. 

I still think we won this trade that got us Mundy
