Where are the two spots to begin with?

You have 2 spots. They are taken by Goodes and Bolton being named as Veterans

2 - 2 = 0

Brown gets injured for a while

0 + 1 = 1

Therefore, there is one spot left that looks designated for Harry

This is all getting a bit Monty Python but I now understand. I think.

Quick question,

If Cunnigham does get nominated for the spot, is he still allowed to play games when Brown comes back from injury?

I ask this because wikipedia uses the word "nominated rookie" rather than "elevated rookie"

If the LTI person (Brown) returns off the LTI list then the upgraded rookie needs to go back to rookie staus. I do believe however that teams can upgrade any rookie, without restriction about half way through the season?

Is that a real rule or did I just make it up?

CrowsFan

Yep SR, after round 11 clubs can nominate a rookie to move up to the senior list for the remainder of the season ;)

It doesnt matter if Sydney has 3 or 4 or 1 spot, who ever takes that spot/s is very unlikely to get a game this year.

There are guys like Pyke, Gordon, TDL, Morton, White, Armstrong, Merredith, Mitchell, Lamb, Spangher, Lockyer, Moore and Mitchell still in front of them (i dont believe these guys are in our best 22). Dont think we will even see Mitchell this year unless 4 guys go down

#80
Well with mere hours to go, I thought I would have a final crack and see how close I get.

Backs          Johnson       Richards     Mattner

H.Back        Grundy           LRT          Malceski

Centre         Hannebery   McVeigh      Parker

H.Fwd         Bolton         Goodes        Jetta

Fwd            McGlynn          Reid         Rohan

Foll             Mumford      Kennedy      Jack

Int              Smith         Shaw       Cunningham    Bird(sub)

Changes from my original, a few positional and the following ins/outs.

Out - Armstrong, ROK, Walsh

In - Malceksi, Parker, Morton

Despite others telling me Pyke will be in the team and a niggling feeling they could be right, I just cant bring myself to do it so have put Morton instead.

It is a good looking team... :) should win by 80+ you would think.

TheMailman

KK will have my shot

Back:  A. Johnson T. Richards N. Smith

Half Back: M. Mattner  H.Grundy   R.Shaw

Centres: D. Hannebery   K.Jack   J. McVeigh

Half Forward:  G. Rohan  A. Goodes  L. Parker

Forward: M. Pyke S. Reid M. Morton

Foll: Mumford Bolton Kennedy

Inter: LRT Malceksi Mcglynn (sub: Bird)

Things that I think could switch are:

Bird - Cunningham  (unlikely)

Pyke - Walsh (possible)

The only ones I'm really not sure

No room for Jetta MM?

He was my sub, but I forgot Bolton so he was the only one I could remove. Him or Bird out but Bird is a lot better

Actually, I think I'll swap Mcgylnn onto the field and swap Morton w/ Jetta

fixed :)

SydneyRox

Yeah, I agree I think Morton is in trouble, you could be right with the Pyke, but I dont know if it is a good idea.

Well I view it as

Pyke just > Walsh who is > TDL >  Cunningham >  Moore > Lamb > White

wow you have white down that far!!!

my team
Backs       Johnson        Richards        Mattner
H.Back     Shaw            Grundy         Smith
Centre     Hannebery     Bolton          McVeigh
H.Fwd      LRT            Goodes         Parker
Fwd         McGlynn         Reid             Rohan
Foll          Mumford        Kennedy       Jack
Int           Jetta           Pyke              Bird        Eski(sub)

I think our back 6 is set, with eski to help. Either Jetta or Eski will be the sub, i think Pyke in front of White and Morton

ROK comes in for Jetta when fit.

TheMailman

I think its gone to the point where White really just needs to knuckle down in the 2nds and in training to give Longmuire and the staff 100% confidence in him. I do believe that's where he stands in the club atm and he really needs to have a good work ethic.

I want him to do well, WHY WON'T YOU DO WELL  :'(

He is still relatively young though so he still has time on his side. Just a longer project than expected

SydneyRox

I hadnt paid attention to the Cunningham upgrade today, so I would replace Morton in my team with him.

im sorry but hahaha you had Morton?? I had Rohan but he is now out. Only have Goodes, Parker and Mummy now. Cant see Harry playing 3 games as ROK will be back soon. And i think Spanger is well in front of Harry as well
