So may I ask your expert advice on the general status of Cunningham? 3 weeks ago he looked a lock, now I'm not sure he'll get a run at all.

Thoughts?

Cicjose

there are 2 veterans so there are 2 spots

never going to play Round 1, probably not this year. Needs a fair few people to break down before he plays

Brown's injury has created the only spot for a rookie elevation

TheMailman

The swans have too many players in a similar build to Cunningham. He'll probably get at least one game later in the year if he gets elevated

Cicjose

Cunningham can be elevated

Cunningham can be elevated
doesnt mean that he will play, at this stage Cunningham looks like the one who will get elevated but finding a spot for him in the team is a bit tougher

TheMailman

He was selected in the rookie draft for a reason.

The swans won't rush him into anything. Alex Brown was never going to play this year anyway so Cunnigham just goes into the queue

I reckon that Campbell Heath will be elevated, but that's just my two cents worth

Cicjose

so if heath takes one spot who takes the second?

Where are you getting the second spot?

Sydney have their two veterans in Goodes and Bolton, therefore there are no more rookie elevation spots open after the LTI of Alex Brown one

+1 - only 1 spot, because of Brown.

I was all for heath to get the elevation, but now I think Cunnington will defn get it and might even get a game round 1...... He has been impressive, and why play him all through the NAB at the expense of others if not to give the longer trial?

It was only the final round NAB vs GC but he played in front of Meredith, Moore, Gordon, Lamb in the midfield. ROK and Rohan look to be missing round 1, I will wait until he gets upgraded/named, but he could be a massive smokie.....

Quick question,

If Cunnigham does get nominated for the spot, is he still allowed to play games when Brown comes back from injury?

I ask this because wikipedia uses the word "nominated rookie" rather than "elevated rookie"

Cicjose

um if 2 spots plus the LTI of Brown = 3 spots

how have you ended up with none?
