One of the top scorers last year, Hawks look like a top 4 team again, has a good bye for the mids (13) and he seems unique by the look of other team.

What will he average and will he make the top 10 mids this year?

Colliwobblers

i think he will average 113 and just make the top 10 maybe just miss, hodge back to his best and the rest of the hawks mids improving may or may not limit his scoring but the missing hodge factor last year and the returning hodge factor this year maybe a flimsy reason but its whats keeping hodge out of my DT but like last year where i upgraded to him mid season i will be looking to do this again this year (after selwood and pendles). FYI im starting swan, gaj, thomo or rocky, barlow - how original right :)

Was a good selection last year and will be a good unique selection this year.

I dunno if you class last year as a 'breakout' but his numbers were unbelievable. Had his best season in dream team anyway.

His 29 and still going strong. Really deserves more recognition.

If it wasn't for my man crush on Redden I'd have him.  :P

Football Factory

I had him last year and he was great, for some reason he doesnt make my team this year   ???

Presto

I have been  really surprised at how little mention has been made of Sam Mitchell.
He has to be the most consistent of all the elite midfielders.
Last year he scored 100+ 14 times with only one game scoring less than 90.
The 3rd most disposals, the 12th highest for pressure and a tackling efficiency of 73%, 7th highest efficiency amongst midfielders.

+1 presto....but still can't squeeze him in

picker_man

its either him or murphy as last upgrade target, plenty of tems will still have him nd boyd just seems fanfooty guys wont

AndrewY

Hey picker man are you just noticing the ff expertise , knowledge  and high skill levels?

jabroni

had him from rd1 last year but him missing rd23 and costing me 2 final spots was  :'( so not getting him this year due to spite

In my top 5 favourite players. Expensive, due to his awesome year last year in which I had him from day dot but a proven jet. Top 10 mids this year I think. Swan, Pendles, Gazz, Rocky locks in the top four but an easy draw for Thommo and the ever reliable Boyd hanging about round out the top 6 imo. Jelwood, Mitchell, Murphy and Barlow after that.

My starting mids:

Ablett, Rocky, Redden, Mitchell, Barlow and Hayes (will be adjusted for byes and potentially weakened due to excessive strength)

Despite being a Lions supporter and a huge crush on RedRock I think Mitchell is the one I'm most excited about in that midfield...

CFC 1979

seems to be the forgotten man

You guys are starting to tempt me ... stop it ...  :-\
