Anybody had any thoughts on what should / could be a " par "score in the 1st 3 rounds?
What are you realistically hoping to score in the 1st 3 rounds as the rookies and team structures sort themselves out?

pavs nose

i did a rough calculation on my current team and it should score approx 2100 in round 1

i think anything from 2000 to 2100 will be considered a par score

Presto

It depends on your definition of "par".
If you mean average, last year DT averages were just over 1900.
If you mean acceptable then 2000 is the answer

If you mean what someone hopes to get here is my answer (probably optimistic)

My current team has 12 premiums and 5 midpricers. These 17 players will score on last year averages 1652 add to that that i expect all my midpricers to score more than last year (otherwise why would I chose them) say 100 extra points. The 5 rookies not on the bench should score me at least 300, but since I am an optimistic I hope for 350: Total 2102

To find a more definite idea, i wouldn't necessarily look at the yearly average of the player, i would look at the average against the opposition, as that would give you a better idea in the first three rounds.

Anything less than 2,250 for me, will be a failure. I want the rd1 $500 and my team is built to take it.

Anything under 2100 will be bogey golf

I'm building my team partly around the draw so a lot of my preliminary team has a great round 1 matchup...

Based on a basic estimate I'm shooting for 2300+ for the first round. Obviously a lot of things need to go in my favour but its better to aim high...

In saying this I'd be happy with anything over 2100.

Par score for the first few rounds I'd say would be 2100-2150

In My opinion a par would be 2000-2100, Birdie for anything between 2100-2200, Eagle for 2200-2300, Hole in one for for 2300+.

I also did a calculation using last years averages on my team having 12 preimiums, 4 mid pricers, 6 cheaps/rookies. The Premiums using Swans Ave as Captain would get me 1340. I am presuming my mids would at least ave 80, and my rookies 70 working on those calculations my team would score approximately 2080.

Id like to see the guys team and logic claiming his going to shoot a hole-in-one in each of the first 3 rounds.

The F.A.R.K.

Well for my team personally par would be to just outscore all the other 250k+ teams. Shouldnt be that hard

Scored 2,284 in rd 1 2010... Starting team this season is stronger, not too unrealistic.

My team will need 6 upgrades.

Well the winner last year average just under 2205 last year so if your team averages 2200 over the first 3 rounds your probably in the hunt for a new car.
