Heppell or Broughton???

Both priced similarly, Hep has tanked up a bit over the preseason, and Brought's role is uncertain with a new coach. At the moment I am leaning towards Hep, so Broughton fans, persuade me!

Well, with Heppell I think you will get what you pay for. As in a 80-90 average.

With Broughton it's completely different. He can slay it and he looms as a  dominant scorer if given a more defined role. Hopefully has running back or midfielder.

For instance, I'm pretty sure Heppell had like 30+ possies one game and barely scraped a ton. I'm not getting either. But Broughton over Heppell at this stage without seeing any NAB performances.  ;)

Really good question i have taken out Heppell and gone Broughts lol.... Broughts has been in the system longer and has a higher ceiling.. also R.Lyon could put him in the midfield or turn him into one of those high possy defenders he likes.

Any new opinions since? From what I've heard, Broughton has looked to be fairly DT friendly in the NAB, and Hep has been playing more of a midfield role...

ATM I am leaning towards Broughton, only because he is probably the best back in the Freo lineup, so they should give it to him (you would think).

However, if Broughts turns into Yarran, that would be the biggest "aw, snaaaaaaap" moment... :-\

Otherwise, you could get adcock or go down further for a midpricer like golby, hargrave, lake, duffman, waters, dempsey just from top of my head

Broughton scored third most overall points in the NAB cup, and Duffield wasn't far behind.

Broughton for sure after seeing him the NAB Cup.

I had Duffield but Broughton's role/performances have convinced me to find the cash to upgrade to him and lock him in.
