how much of an overpay? i paid $112 000
Apart from the obvious need for several seasons of fielding training, I think that this is a good buy. I realy like FMs and think they are just as good as fasties yet seem more versatile.

Nice buy IMO.

Not at this time of the season, I don't think so. I'm gonna assume you will be training fielding for a while and I would suggest that you train him in fielding for a season then assess.

It depends on what your base level of fielding is for your team.

Cicjose

i just wanted an extremely good bowler.

at 26 he doesn't need bowling training anymore which is great

i must admit his endo and power come into consideration for this buy.....

his fielding did not.......

i have a feeling it should have

MajorLazer

It should've been looked at but at 26 you still have a bit of time to fix it.

Good luck training him. :)

Cicjose

yep 2 solid seasons of fielding for him and i will reassess i think

CrowsFan

Cic how can you afford these players' wages? Your team wages must be over 120k now!! :o

Cicjose

i still have 257K in the bank

i spent nothing in last seasons EOS

CrowsFan

Yeah but you'll just be losing money every single week. Just not worth it.
Saw you also purchased an excep/excep batter with only average fielding. Fielding is one of the most important skills, you shouldn't be buying players like that!

valkorum

I agree - if you are buying good quality players (out/out or above) then they should have at least reli fielding or move on

Capable fielding is a minimum for purchasing players imo. Unless they're an AR, then I apply different rules.

valkorum

Reli was my minimum for seniors.

roo boys!

Fielding obviously needs work and then the power can be pumped up when he gets a bit older...all round needs a bit of work, but the exp and primaries are good, besides, those talents: drool!
