2012 will be my 3rd year of supercoach, but my first year of taking dreamteam seriously (last year was all North players)

So don't know much about it, assume the guns in supercoach are the same as the guns in dreamteam...see how this goes

DT Fanplanner squad in the Dream Team competition coached by RHC123. Salary cap left: $200.

Brendon Goddard, Corey Enright, Brett Deledio, Greg Broughton, Brandon Ellis, Tim Mohr, Lee Spurr
Beau Wilkes, Brad Mangan

Scott Pendlebury, Gary Ablett jnr, Joel Selwood, Michael Barlow, Stephen Coniglio, Callum Bartlett
Dylan Shiel, Luke Brown

Matthew Leuenberger, Shane Mumford
Sam Rowe, Orren Stephenson

Steve Johnson, Lance Franklin, Matthew Pavlich, Dustin Martin, Nick Riewoldt, Jeremy Cameron, Billie Smedts
Dayne Zorko, Matthew Panos

If anyone does supercoach and looked at my team on the other board, they will notice it's pretty similar because I tried to follow the same strategy, but just went for stronger rucks, weaker defence etc.

Any picks that really stand out as poor??

Players I really want to start round 1 for my team are Broughton, the 3 gun mids, Mumford, and my 5 gun forwards.

Team looks alright mate..

DEF: Im a big fan of rookie S.Morris i reckon he will be a bloody good pick up for DT this year

Enright getting a little old and slow imo but have no problem with people picking him

MID: Nice, i reckon you could probably pick up someone better than C.Bartett  ...watch nab tho he could be alright ..maybe McDonald from GWS nice and cheap should get games and score well also S.Clifton from GWS gonna be a gun.

RUCK: Good...i would find a way to get J.Giles in ...GWS ruck, maybe get rid of Panos put Rowe there and put Giles into your rucks

FWD: I reckon Roo would be a better SC pick up this year but is undervalued and if he gets back to old form will be good.....I like A.Christensen and J.Brown i think they are both cheaper options same risk

Overall not a bad team.......... good luck

Hi Bud, biggest difference betwwen SC and DT is DT is just possession ect, not ball use, basically... Wont go into your rooks
Def: solid
Mid: Swan over pendles in DT. solid, downgrade coniglio to a $104K rook wont make much difference and save you $70K.
RUCK: solid leave it.
FWD: solid with nroo deep too.

Nice team as i said i didnt look at your rooks as you will refine them over nab cup as we all do and i didnt look at the byes with your premiums closely either, but looks like a solid side.

Just keep in mind SC guns are not DT guns always and visa versa. Swan over penles in DT and a few others might change too if you look closely, in DT points for what happens not, the effect on the game or the efficiency of "what you do".

Anyway good looking side and good luck in your first year taking it seriously :)

I've been looking at doing something different, so I was going to ask people what they thought the better of two teams were:

Goddard, Hanley, Mackie, Gilbert, Ellis, Morris, Bugg (Brown, Wilkes)

Swan, Boyd, Ablett, Murphy, Selwood, Shiel (Smith, Stevens)

Leuenberger, Mumford (Giles, Stephenson)

Fyfe, Cloke, Martin, Harvey, Zorko, Smedts, Walsh (Kerridge, Treloar)

A team with a risky defence, awesome midfield, and unique forward line-Harvey beats up on easier teams and has easy draw, while Fyfe seems to be having no trouble after surgery in off season, yet still not picked often

vs

Goddard, Enright, Broughton, Gilbert, Lake, Ellis, Morris (Bugg, Wilkes)

Swan, Ablett, Murphy, Selwood, Shiel, Clifton (Smith, Stevens)

Leuenberger, Mumford (Giles, Stephenson)

Franklin, Cloke, Martin, Harvey, JBrown, Smedts, Walsh (Kerridge, Treloar)

A much more even team, with a mid pricer in def/forward, but both could be premiums.

Team 2 had about 2k. Team 1 had about 20k left over.

I like option 1 because the midfield is just so tempting to start with. But just thought I would get some ideas from DT

Thanks
