Giles vs Downie

Hi guys was wondering what we know about Tom Downie from GWS

Everybody talking about Giles but Downie is 6cm taller but 4 or 5 years younger i think so we all know Giles will get games but Downie being 205cm will they give him games to let him develop i dunno was just looking at ruckman and found it interesting

He is a project player & has to get past Giles as well as Phillips so I wouldn't be picking him...

I doubt he will get many games, will be lucky to get one IMO.

Yeah as Boomz said, project player, and they rarely get games in their first year

if he was going to make an immediate impact, he probs would have been picked before 54 :)

DOnt think he would get a game this season unless their was a major catastrophy with injury.

yeah look well spotted and a player for the future, he will hold down a spot in the magoos? i predict 1 or 2 afl games at most if any this season and that will be just to blood him so to speak, but with a 5 year maturing schedule for most rucks he is at least a year maybe 2 of real time in the afl.
