Exciting Times and Bad Timing...

Howdy all,

Just wanted to let you all know that I won't be online as often as I usually am as I have entered moving mode as of two days ago. 8)

I have officially (as of yesterday 4:30pm) got a new place in Melbourne (goodbye Gippsland  :'( ) so there's a lot for me to do now as I will be moving into the new house this Sunday. :o Then of course, I'll be busy moving stuff, organising furniture, settling in, finding new work etc. etc. which will cut into FF time gigantically for perhaps another week. But I'll still be around, just not as often as I normally am (which was usually most of the day/night).  ;D

I'll still be around to update the Aus Open Sweep but this is merely a heads up if I don't respond to messages right away or if I seem pre-occupied. :P

But once I've settled in, I'll be back to normal and I can focus on finishing all of those unfinished pieces of work here and also get organised for SC 2012! ;D

Why are you moving here?

Several reasons.

• Time for me to leave the parents' nest. :)
• Need to find full-time work (freelance isn't working out) and there's no events jobs in Gippsland. :-\
• Most of my friends live in the city and have been telling me to hurry up and move closer. :P
• But the reason I'm moving to that area of the city, Pascoe Vale, is because the friend I'm moving in with is working at a primary school in Coburg.

Goodluck with the move C4, moving isnt alot of fun, hate it. All the crap you collect over the years,its a pain. Hope it all goes smoothly for you.

It is isnt it, you think you'll need 4 or 5 trailer loads which then turns into 7 or 8 cause of all the stuff youve horded over the years. Always a good time to have a clean out and take only what you want to keep and toss the rest haha.

The clean out has been epic mainly due to only having started on Saturday and I need to have most of it done before I begin to move in tomorrow! :o I'm only taking smaller items along with clothes, dvd/games, non-perishables etc. tomorrow.

The bigger items (furniture, beds, fridge, washing machine etc) will be taken on Sunday as we've hired a moving truck for the day. Organisation FTW.

Was pretty cheap too. $154 for 24 hours, plus fuel we use, plus 33 cents for every km after the first 100 km (which are included). So the idea is, pick it up Saturday afternoon, pack the truck that night, leave Sunday morning, dump stuff, return truck and I'll just move furniture and stuff around myself.
