Yeah, thanks Nails, turns out that it makes our position worse, but at least it's now correct. ;D That's a cheer for you sir, and for CF too just for posting. :P

NRR are actually this ;)

Pineapples - (798/200) - (753/154) = -0.9

Yorker - (753/154) - (798/200) = 0.9
All updated CF. :)

Tempted to get rid of this spud, out for 1 off 3 deliveries v.s. Q.

My bowler is hogging the strike, faced every delivery last 2 overs and retained the strike at the start of this over....

Let the AR face you spud or put your boundary hitter to use!

End of over 50 (2 runs) - The Nailers(208-7) RR 4.16
R. Voros 25 (34b) , M. Bryce 1 (3b) , S. Msipha 10-1-51-4

Not good, not bad, but just right.

A score you can defend given the conditions and a score you can chase given the conditions.

A score where early wickets mean a lot or where early runs mean a lot.

What will happen in this all important match, a match to give a HUGE advantage to the winner's franchise?!?!?!

Nails

End of over 1 (4 runs) - SE Melbourne Thunder Dogs(4-1). 205 runs required from 49 overs. RR 4.00 RRR 4.18
A. Blaxland 2 (2b) , P. Whitting 1 (1b) , W. McKenzie 1-0-4-1

And the Thunder Dogs are in all sorts! They're lucky not to be 2 down!

0.6   2   McKenzie to Blaxland : [dropped]

Alarm bells are ringing for the Thunder Dogs!

2.2   W   McKenzie to Puja : [catch] Fuller length delivery outside the off stump. Puja drives away from his body with no real foot-work. It looked like the bat hit the ground - hard to say if there was an edge involved.
B. Puja c J. Sweeney b. W. McKenzie 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
2.1   W   McKenzie to Blaxland : [catch] Got him! Pushes it through outside off stump, Blaxland doesn't transfer his weight at all and his tentative poke provides an edge which carries safely to McDonald at first slip.
A. Blaxland c H. McDonald b. W. McKenzie 3 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR:75.00

What's that in the Pavilion? Is that Master Q praying for a miracle? Why yes, I think it is!

4.4   W   McKenzie to Whitting : [catch] Nicked and gone. Goodbye Whitting, well done Sweeney.
P. Whitting c J. Sweeney b. W. McKenzie 6 (15b 0x4 0x6) SR:40.00

Could he be on his way for a 10fer?!?!?

Nails

End of over 5 (3 runs) - SE Melbourne Thunder Dogs(15-4). 194 runs required from 45 overs. RR 3.00 RRR 4.31
S. Peirce 3 (6b) , P. Mordt 1 (2b) , W. McKenzie 3-0-10-4

Sorry for all the posts, couldn't help myself  ;D

Geez Q what is happening to your side?

Also what are McKenzie's stats nails? He seems pretty damn good!

Nails

Opened him for you C4, considering his wage I don't think he's too far from popping to Spec in at least 1 prim. Should pop by at least half way through this season?

He took the 4 wickets in his first 3 overs where he was set to A, now that he's on N, he hasn't taken a wicket :(

nd of over 30 (9 runs) - SE Melbourne Thunder Dogs(124-4). 85 runs required from 20 overs. RR 4.13 RRR 4.25
P. Mordt 28 (69b) , S. Peirce 70 (90b) , R. Voros 5-0-25-0

Where are the rest of my wickets?  ::)

CrowsFan

Well nails you really threw that game away after having Q in trouble at 4 for 15!! Well done Q on such a great fightback! Truly great leadership from the captain of WAAK :D

There really isn't anything we can do  :-\
Someone could buy me a membership... ;) haha j/k, I suppose we'll just have to do what Fletch said.

Or, HP and I are playing in a Twenty20 tonight, could we possibly make that count? :-\ Hard to determine whether he will go in full strength or not though, different circumstances.

None the less, the game has just started:

If somebody would have messaged me, I could have played full strength :(. Rested 2 of my Best bats and Moser for the match (Experience for youngsters). Guess we may be waiting a while until we are both knocked out of the Pav Cup :P.

Rb will have to big by alot for us to win now :-\

Nails

To be honest I think NRR is a BS decider for a FINAL. Should be like real life cricket, seeing as Pineapples won the first two rounds, therefore sorta winning the series Pineapples should retain the trophy.

We only agreed on NRR being the decider to decide who got into the final if that other match was tied... but deciding a FINAL on NRR?  :-\
