Well, i think if both parties really want it to go through, then i dont think the trade will be that unbalanced. I think this rule is mainly to stop stupid trades like Joel Selwood for Scott Gumbleton. Believe me, it happens.

Kreuzer and Sidebottom for Deledio and Dangerfield.

Well, i think its fair, Sidebottom and dangerfield are pretty much the same age, player and ability. its mainly the Kreuzer, who is a big ruckman for the future, and deledio who is one of the best backs going around that are different IMO

Purple and myself have also struck a deal that will see Greg Broughton come to the Cape Town Cobras, and Jack Watts leave to the Berlin Brewers... Please note that I will not follow through with this deal if that deal with Hilly falls through for whatever reason, if that suits the rules?  ;)

Reason: I really wanted a young guy that will always be considered as a forward, and that has huge potential. Just hope Mark Neeld won't make him a full time defender! I have heaps of defenders that i think can cover broughtons loss, so he was trade bait from the beginning.

The Seoul Magpies are announcing they have a struck a deal with Berlin Brewer's coach Purple 77 that will see:

JACK TRENGOVE and CHRIS KNIGHTS head to Germany

and RYAN GRIFFEN and BRENT RENOUF head to South Korea.

Trengove no doubt will be a star, but the Magpies believe Griffen feels a more immediate need. Brent Renouf is needed to boost ruck-stocks given the departure of Matt Kreuzer, and Chris Knights loses a bit of value with the recent arrival of Patrick Dangerfield.

Reason: My main objective in this trade period was to get a young midfield superstar in the making, and obviously, my equal-favourite player in Trengove fulfills that. I also wanted a forward, if not an MPP, which just sweetened this deal quite a bit. Since I acquired Trent West from hp, it opened up renouf for trade bait. Griffen is a loss that is for sure, but Trengove will be his equivalent, if not more in the coming years.
