in reply to my chumps, that is a tough one. Melbourne really needs class in their midfield, dare i say it, more than we need a key forward target in the forward line. Scully was one of our rare midfielders with a bit of class, but im still gonna say clark. Scully is having knee problems and he didn't have a great year, to be honest i think trengove will be better.
While clark, well he isn't gonna 50+ goals a year, he may even struggle with 30, but he is crucial to our forwtrd line structure and maybe even the team structure. Having strong big target in the forward line gives something the mids to target and even if he doesn't mark it, the crumbers can feed of him. So I'm saying clark.

No one has picked any melbourne players.......... probably because only one of them averaged over a hundred lol

I agree with you in saying Trengrove will be better than Scully... He seems really, really dedicated to the Demons too.
Hopefully Clark serves you well. I've always had a soft spot for Melbourne :P

well looks like its my pick. Jeez there is so many tempting midfielders that scored so well last year........ but most are ageing and i have doubts about their performance with their club next year. I should get a ruckman i suppose, so I will pack by bags from berlin (my team) and get the RUSSIAN! Mark jamar please! Good ol melbourne boy!

What if......

We get this done in time before the draft and have a 'one off' trade week that doesn't correspond with the actual trade week (so this is the only trade week that isn't run at the same time as the real one), and we can trade players and picks?

And i'm also implying that we get the players the AFL clubs choose at that pick in the draft, for example, if I got pick 5 before the national draft started, I would get the guy GWS pick at number 5.
