I read an article about rioli and clarksons desire to put him back into a midfield role for 2012 a couple of years ago i would agree but i think he would serve the hawks better in the forward line where he pick up the crumbs from franklin and rougheads feet and he is capable of kicking 3 or 5 goals a match I would like to see what you think of this move and what you think is best for hawthorns team line up :)

Saw the article as well
I would love him for the Midfield though he is very important for forward structure i feel we have enof small forwards to do that task like Smith,Bruest and when he has devolved Hill

the flying hawk

for now the forward line is where he is needed we have if not the best but one of the most powerful midfield in the competition when players like Burgoyne Mitchell and Bateman  retire maybe then

Purple 77

IMO

15 possessions in the forward line by this man is better than 30 possessions in the midfield. He is very dangerous in the forward line and i believe hawthorn have enough quality mids as it is.

Maybe move rioli up in the midfield, if not dominating in the forward line, in a couple years when the hawks veterans retire

When there gone Cyril should be a must in the middie

the flying hawk

the hawks will most likely put cyril in the mid when they retire but there will also be the likes of suckling shiels smith hill and puoppolo still a strong midfield but then yes rioli becomes a midfielder

They say this every year. Then his body can't handle it, so they put him back in the forward line.

CrowsFan

You're forgetting Whitecross for the midfield role. Becoming a midfielder appears to be the plan for Whitecross so Cyril may not be needed there ;)

I agree, it's a broken record.
