Last year we saw many breakout season from young players, such as Fyfe, Zaharakis, Beams, Rockliff, Redden, and many others. Who fo you think will be a breakout player this year and will you pick them in your team?

miffysp

I'm thinkin Andrew gaff, I wish I could find room for him in my team

Not sure,
I think Krooze has the potential to become premo and his ceiling is huge.

We already know he is a good player but he clearly hasn't broken out in terms of Fantasy yet.
He is one player I want to pick but dont havethe balls too atm  :P

I'm not sure if he counts, but I think Jack Grimes

I actually think Thomas Couch will be the bargain of the year, a rookie for melbourne, an MPP, and is very very cheap. 23 years old and could easily step into the melbourne midfield, especially since he is know eligible for selection because of Max Gawn and James Strauss injuries.

Israel Folau can't wait to see him play Fwd for GWS! He is going to turn into my GUN!!! Buwahahaha

Grazz

Im a Gaff fan aswell and im having the same trouble fitting him in as his price makes it a little awkward. I think 2012 for Gaff could be great.

Jamesy

Jack Watts broke out last season, and is now worth around 400k, but i think he will step up again and average 95+..

In a few years if he sticks to the game, i think he could become a decent full forward. He has all the attributes, he just needs to learn the game and develope his Aussie rules instinct. He kinda stabs at his kicks a little bit, but he will learn. He can slot them from the 50 when on target so that's a good enuf start.
Put it this way, even though he is a fwrd in the GWS side, he will score more then Khunt. hahaha

I'm a Dees supporter and I can't see Couch getting much of a run this year. Too many other young guns that have been around for a couple of years now all on the cusp.

zaka,sidebottom,martin,grima,christensen,trengove,ward,skully

only gone with zaka, martin and sidebotton in my team, tho

mmmurphy3

kane lucas to have a big year for the blues :) will play more games

cdonny

I reckon Jack Ziebell is set to smash it, averaged 110 odd for the last half of the season, was used as the sub for most of the first half after coming back from 2 broken legs. Is a genuine hard player, and when all the others have given up, he finds another level.

..pity he is rubbed out for the first 2 rounds, still going to have him on my becnh I think. worthy.

van berl, easiest draw ever, thomo to get the tag, depends on new coach but if he gets to run free, he could go 115+ for mine, wish i had the hoolies to pick him

Mortibacio

Zac Smith, GCFC

Did very well for year one, year 2 will be much bigger.

I have him in my DT but not SC at the moment, due to balance, but will be eyeing him off before round 1
