Premium Player Rating (FWD/MID) 9/10 - can't score him any lower, but can suggest you play it safe, follow 3 years of proven history and use him as an upgrade target. For three years in a row he has proven he finished the season stronger than he starts it, with Pav and Fyfe showing solid form early I would start either ahead of Goodes. Nothing wrong with goodiebags however and if you had him all season you would,t suffer much for it. The DT TALK article sums it up well enough I don't need to go on about him, but to say he is fit and healthy and he is Goodes.

How good is that for service haha. I get it in under 20 mins haha.

Introduction
A hard-working medium-sized midfielder, Jack Redden has proven a tough AFL competitor who thrives on the contest. He has quickly risen through the AFL ranks to become one of the Lions' key midfielders who can win his own ball and apply pressure to the opposition. 2011
• Redden continued his rapid rise through the AFL ranks in 2011 by establishing himself as one of the best young midfielders in the competition.

• He was regularly among the Lions' best players each week, averaging a career-best 23.9 disposals and leading the Club in total tackles with 166. In fact, Redden ranked among the top five tacklers in the competition.

• Together with his ability to find the ball and pressure opponents, Redden also proved a valuable contributor to the scoreboard with 14 goals for the season - including four game as a multiple goal-kicker.

• On five occasions he collected a dozen or more tackles - including his Round 5 match against St Kilda when he laid 12 tackles, collected 27 disposals and kicked two goals to earn his first ever Brownlow Medal vote.

• He twice collected a career-best 32 disposals - in Round 12 v Carlton and in Round 16 v Hawthorn - and also finished third at the Lions in total marks.

• Redden also surpassed his first games milestone throughout the 2011 when he lined up for his 50th AFL game against Adelaide in Round 20 at the Gabba. He also kept alive his unbroken streak of 54 consecutive senior matches since making his debut in Round 15 of 2009.

• His brilliant season culminated in him finishing third in the Merrett-Murray Medal vote count - his second consecutive top five finish - and being awarded the Shaun Hart Most Courageous Player trophy.

That with a full strength Lions midfield present, not the best team Carlton can field but impressive still by Redden.

Premium Player Rating 9/10 - Elite midfielder, yes he has only had one season of elite numbers, but this kid is not going backwards. Exceptional at pressure acts rewarded more highly in SC but the tackles add up in DT also. Will get tags, but won't care much, not much room for improvement on last seasons numbers but I expect some anyway. Lock him in will be slightly unique this season as a starting MID and will be more than slightly smart to do so.

Have a check of your PM's CW and how cute does Redden look there hahaha.

Jarrad Boumann
#31   Hawthorn Hawks
Age: 22yr 6mth    Games: 0     Born: August 18, 1989
Height: 197cm     Weight: 87kg     Position: Defender
Supercoach Price: $113,200
Dreamteam Price: $104,200

After spending three years on the Western Bulldogs list, Boumann came to Hawthorn’s attention after a ripping season with the Box Hill Hawks where he finished third in the best and fairest. He is a robust defender and thus adds depth to one part of the ground where the Hawks are seemingly vulnerable. The club particularly likes his closing speed but, although big and strong, he still needs to add some bulk.

Draft History: 2007 NAB AFL Draft 3rd Round selection (Western Bulldogs) no. 48 overall; 2011 NAB ADL Draft traded by GWS for no. 56.

Rookie Player Rating (DEF) 6.5/10 - Solid pick but plays as a key defender and while as in last article he seems likely to debut and play early games he will struggle hold his spot after players who are out return. Also as a key defender he will not be the most DT friendly option going around. Is mature, AFL ready and likely to play so not the worst pick in a gun rookie starved DT backline this year...
