Jeremy Cameron is a 196cm power forward with a strong attack on the ball, who in 2009 was a 16‐year‐old playing his first full season of football in the seniors for Dartmoor, 20 minutes from the South Australian border.

Despite living 256km from Ballarat, Cameron played 16 matches for North Ballarat in the TAC Cup alongside teammate Kurt Aylett who will also join him at the GWS Giants. In his TAC Cup matches, Cameron averaged 11 disposals per match, took 89 marks (ranked number 11) with this tally including the second most (43) contested marks across the competition.

His 58 scoring shots including 33 goals ranked number five at this level. His only match at the 2010 NAB Under‐18 Championships was against NSW/ACT and his return from this outing was 11 disposals and five marks. He was a member of the 14th intake of the AIS AFL Academy squad.

Check out FF write up on the DISCUSSION Link, very good.

Rookie Player Rating: (FWD) 8/10 - Won't score huge numbers playing mostly as a key forward, but has a lot of run and will work his way down the ground to win ball, great kick and mark and a general gun player who would have gone extremely high in the draft if he was in it. With Patton out will have excellent JS. 60 avg may seem low but it is at least a sure thing.

Devon Smith is a forward from the Geelong Falcons in Victoria.

He was a member of the 14th AIS-AFL Academy intake.

He averaged 18.5 disposals and four tackles at the NAB AFL U18 Championships after missing the early part of the year while recovering from injury. He has pace, agility and is a great decision-maker who is dynamic near goal. He averaged 27.3 disposals and 7.2 tackles with the Falcons this year.

The GWS GIANTS selected Devon with pick number 14 in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.

Name: Devon Smith
Club: Geelong Falcons, Victoria
Date of birth: 20/5/93
Height: 174cm
Weight: 76kg
Draft range: 10-20

NAB AFL Draft Combine: Smith tested inside the top 10 per cent at the combine in the vertical jump, showed excellent speed with a 2.91s in the 20m sprint and finished third overall in the 30m repeat sprint test. He also scored a 25 out of 30 in the Matthew Lloyd clean hands test, which ranked him equal ninth.

Jason Phelan says: Smith is one of the premier small forward-midfielder prospects in this draft. He reads the game exceptionally well and has a knack of finding space inside 50. He made his mark on the national carnival when he booted six goals against the Northern Territory at Visy Park, but also has a ferocious appetite for chasing and tackling in the forward half of the ground. He only played six games for the Falcons due to Vic Country and school commitments, but averaged 27 possessions and kicked 11 goals.

Kevin Sheahan says: Smith was part of the 14th AIS-AFL Academy intake. He averaged 19 disposals and four tackles at the Under-18 Championships. Has pace, agility and finds space. Rare decision-making ability and skills. From Lara FC.

In his own words: I'm a competitive, smart forward with a high defensive aspect to my game.
