2011 DT Wrap - 4 tons only this season the highest a noteable 151, did add a few 90's and a bag of 80's to put in an overall above average DT season, but definately not elite, More a SC player as his averages above for 2011 reflect.

Premium Player Rating (FWD) 8/10 - could be higher but Rioli is both in danger of breaking out this season as he was last season, but he is in just as much danger of breaking hamstrings this season as he did last season. The issues surrounding picking Rioli encompass both the role he gets played in, watch nabcup, and whether or not his new running style and great preseason see him keep fit for a full season, almost a SC lock and definately one to watch for DT.

Well you might have to wait and see if the boys on DTTalk whip one up in thier Vs series.

A few points to answer your request tho.

1. Pendles = SC / Swan = DT.

2. Swan has been dropped from the leadership group which will not effect him at all where as Pendles has been promoted to it which may effect him a little, I would take it as a minor plus to both of them.

3. Increased midfield time for Sidebottom, may efffect Pendles scoring a tiny bit, it will not effect Swans however.

4. I think Swan is as good as he gets, as good as anyone gets, Pendles may have a little bit of improvement left in him.

Verdict. Start Swan he is the best until proven otherwise, has more captain scores in him. Upgrade to Pendles he will improve and any improvement locks him in the top 5 midfielders, potentially he could be this years Swan. If Gaj is not that is ...

Explosive small forward (2.96 seconds for 20m sprint) who is dynamic around goal and overhead for his size. Former basketballer and state cricketer at Under 17 level for SA.

Outlook
A small forward from Glenelg, McCarthy could be another late draft gem for the Cats. Has genuine pace, is a quality finisher and is good overhead for his size. Represented South Australia in cricket at under-17 level and was an excellent basketballer.

Rookie Player Rating (FWD) 6/10 - I'm rating him higher than I could due to his ability which is obvious and also his fit in the cats side, however he is losing a lot for being talked up as a "development project" type player, this is likely due to his inexperience (compared to some) and his run of recent injury. Watch him in nabcup if he gets a run but hard to start him given the comments out of the cattery thus far, he is on the senior list however so could be well spotted F.A.R.K

Sorry Bud I was getting to that Not much fear of the montagna unique been stolen by TOO many, I got on ROK late last season and was happy for it but he is another unique not likely to attract TOO many takers.

Mainly due to trivial reasons like Montagna had an average year in 2011 by his standards and Lenny is back and what does that mean?

As for ROK the Goodes gets picked first factor rules him out of most sides.

Nick Haynes is a 19-year-old forward from the Dandenong Stingrays in Victoria.

Represented Vic Country at the NAB AFL U18 Championships as a 19-year-old after playing locally with the Frankston Bombers at senior level in 2010.

He has great agility, takes a good overhead mark and shows very good running and aerobic capacity.

In the TAC Cup he averaged 17.4 disposals and six marks with the Stingrays, winning his club’s best and fairest award.

The GWS GIANTS selected Nick with their selection number 7 in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.

Rookie Player Rating (FWD/MID) 6.5/10 - lowest rating for any high draft pick this season, reason being he looks unready for AFL footy and while he has ability and potential i cannot see him getting a LOT of games, whether he proves me wrong or not is to be shown, think given the firepower in the MIDS for GWS he will get a run in the FWD line and I don't think it will be a major role but he could step up when given the opportunity and I think he will get the opportunity just not sure when or for how long.

2011 DT Wrap - Played every game, high of 110 his only ton, few 90's couple of 30 somethings and a whole lot in the middle. 3rd year breakout rule passed Hill over and we wonder if he will break out in his 4th year....

Mid Priced Player Rating (MID) 8/10 - Great request, excellent smokie, you be brave to pick him but I think this will be Hill's BO year, he has bulked up see image above, he is fitter and stronger and these are the three things he needed to achieve to break his tage he attracted last season and will again this season. Anotehr big plus for him this season is the return of Barlow and Mundy to full fitness and to a lesser extent broughton, these three guys will also draw tags and potentially allow Hill more space to accumulate. Hill was a high draft pick he has talent he is still young and this is the first year we have seen him bulked up, expect a 15 point increase in average, may not hit premium keeper status in 2012 but bet on him lifting significantly, and bet on FREO being high up in the 8 if these pieces keep falling into place for them.

The Swans have got themselves a contested ball, clearance specialist in Tom Mitchell. The hard-at-it onballer has battled injury at times this season, but he was among WA's best when he came into the team late in the national under-18 carnival. His ability to win the ball and distribute it efficiently by hand is outstanding and he is also a long kick off his left boot. He returned to play colts footy for Claremont late in the season and amassed 45 possessions in his first game back from an injury layoff.

Rookie Player Rating (MID) 7.5/10 - Gun rookie no doubt, but injury issues and young and little issues. I think Sydney want him to play and he may be a starter early in the season, but more likely he will see some action outside the AFL first, talent isn't the issue AFL readiness is.
