Premium Player Rating: (FWD) 9/10 - Again I don't do 10's and mids score more than FWDS but this is your #1 FWD, you already knew that. News on Buddy is will he play in midfield, answer to that is only if he is bored in the FWD line, looked a little out of place in the midfield but from a fantasy point of view middle or fwd he will average 100 so who cares LOCK HIM IN.

Stephen Coniglio is a talented 17-year-old sportsman from Greenmount in Western Australia.

Stephen played his junior football for Upper Swan Junior Football Club before joining Swan Districts in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He made his senior football debut for Swan Districts against Perth in round 22, 2010 at just sixteen years of age.

He racked up 26 possessions and two goals in his first senior football match and gathered seventeen possessions and four goals in the 2010 WAFL Grand Final.

In 2010 and 2011, Stephen represented Western Australia in the NAB Under 18 National Championships and he captained the side in 2011. After a stand out performance in the national carnival Stephen was awarded the Larke Medal for the best player in the tournament, WA’s most valuable player and was named on the wing in the 2011 Under 18 All-Australian side.

In 2011, he was awarded the WAFL Rising Star Award.

Stephen nominated for the 2011 NAB AFL Draft after a promising junior career in both football and cricket with the 17-year-old playing grade cricket in WA.

The GWS GIANTS selected Stephen with the second overall selection in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.

Rookie Player Rating (MID) 8/10 - ok for a rook he would get a 9 he is obviously an extremely talanted player and went at #2 as a result, he is also ready to go and in a team where he will play every game he is fit for I would think. The minus off his rating is for the fact he needs to out perform fellow mid rooks by enough to justify the significant extra expense, still a player of this talent can score well for you as a rook and be your very last upgrade or remain a bench player late in the season not even using a trade. Tough call on spending the money, but he is this years swallow trengrove or heppell however you want to look at it...

Still the most informative thread here, CW.

The Prospectus is keen on Jeromey Webberely this season, so woud you mind continuing the Tiger cub theme?

Jeromey Webberley
#46   Richmond Tigers
Age: 23yr 7mth    Games: 15     Born: July 12, 1988
Height: 182cm     Weight: 80kg     Position: Defender
Last Drafted: Round 5, Pick #67 2009 National Draft
Last Drafted By: Richmond Tigers
Supercoach Price: $114,900
Dreamteam Price: $110,800

The mature-age recruit from Tasmania, a late pick in the 2009 draft, proved an astute addition last year. Made his debut in round seven and played 10 of the next 13 games, adding to the Tigers’ midfield mix, before tiring and finishing the season in the VFL. Averaged 15 disposals and impressed with his nous and precise kicking.

Draft history: 2009 NAB AFL Draft 5th round selection (Richmond) No. 67 overall.

Couldn't find a lot of recent or relevant information on this fella but the 2nd NAB CUP game certainly showed a bit of his potential.

Mid Priced Player Rating: (DEF) 6/10 - can't rate him accurately or say muc habout him, 10 games in 2010 5 games in 2011, i must have missed all 15, bit of an unknown to me but he did stand out in the 2ng game of NAB Cup, my concern is does he and if so where does he fit into the Richmond line up and how ofter will we see him, 2 new defender rooks in, only conca and delidio being permanent midfielders in 2012 may open up opportunities for him in the back line. one to watch. Well priced

Thanks Colli. Ebert is well and truly on the Watchie :P

ill take him for howard, my smokie for yours, im still finding it hard to put a midpricer in my DT midfield but he is going to be great at port. Played well tonight and looked like the #1 midfielder, hartlett might step up also as a result and hopefully port do just ....well just so they dont suck as bad as last season :)

no offence power fans  :-X

Hahahaha yeah. I am not to sure I'll start with Ebert OR Howard but it's good to get some background info and to chuck them on the watchlist.

DISCUSSION:  http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,45677.0.html

Anthony played 13 of the first 15 games in 2011 after two injury-plagues seasons, and although he had no problems winning the ball, the midfielder struggled to have an impact. He was trialled as a forward midway through the year and impressed, kicking three goals against Gold Coast in round 12.

Following the Roos’ round 16 loss to Collingwood, Anthony was dropped to the VFL, where he spent the rest of the year, with an ankle injury hampering his efforts to win a senior recall. This season looms as an important one for him.

Liam Anthony
Games: 13
Goals: 9

kangaroos.com.au says:
There were high hopes for Liam Anthony upon his return from a shoulder injury, but he'd probably be disappointed with his year.

The 24 year-old didn't lose any of his ball-winning ability during his time on the sidelines with more than 20 possessions during five of the first six games.

Nevertheless, he found himself on the outer following the round seven loss against the Cats.

He was back in the side a fortnight later and proved his worth as a forward option in wins against Adelaide and the Gold Coast but his season of up's and down's continued. He was later used well as a substitute in the clash with St Kilda but after he was unable to have the same impact the following week against a rampant Collingwood, he was subsequently dropped.

An ankle injury didn't stop him pushing for a recall, but it restricted him and a decision was made to end his season early.

Mid Priced Player Rating (MID) 7/10 - his talent deserves more, his JS is a massive concern, I don't like or trust the way scott plays his players rooks or guns, there is very little certainty in that team week to week which i personally think is not a good thing. But he should have a place at half forward or on a wing, pumped out a couple of tons last season both playing forward, if north had a clue they would dump the moron that cant kick a goal from 5 meters out and lock this bloke in at half forward. A risky pick because no one knows what scott will do with his players week to week, but a proven potential gun if used right. trick price not even close to cheap

that has to be the best write up ive ever seen n the kid. He has been so overlooked its ridicoulous. NM coaches are morons his a winger/onballer not a forward pocket sub. So underrated

elephants

Great work so far Colli. Either he has been overlooked by all so far or my eyesight is going bad on the front page there but Rory Sloane when you have the chance. I get its a Monday though :P

The F.A.R.K.

and wouldnt mind seeing paul stewart to add to that ;)

boora23

Amazing profiles colli. Could you please do 2 of the NAB cups first round bolters, Magner the Magnet and Rory Sloane if they haven't already been done :)

elephants

Just requested Sloane two posts above this. Great minds think alike, aww yeah ;)

boora23

Sorry ele i didn't notice. but he is a great choice and I've dropped scotty thompson for him as I see him averaging more with the opposition tagger heading towards thommo, leaving sloane to do what he does best, roam and pick up easy kicks.

Also colli could you do a write up on my boy Tom Ledger? Named on afl website as best for saints in both pre season games, and averaged 30 last year although I don't recall him ever playing more than a quarter as the sub. Very good potential, and I'm tossing up between him and wingard for a premium-rookie mid spot.
