   Lachie Neale
#27   Fremantle Dockers
Age: 18yr 8mth    Games: 0     Born: May 24, 1993
Height: 177cm     Weight: 77kg     Position: Midfield
Last Drafted: Round 3, Pick #58 2011 National Draft
Last Drafted By: Fremantle Dockers
Supercoach Price: $106,600
Dreamteam Price: $98,700

South Australian Lachie Neale is the fourth selection for Freo in the Draft.

Pick 58 - Lachie Neale - 18yrs, 177cm - Lachie has had an outstanding season. He dominated U18 footy for Glenelg, played all 5 championship games for South Australia and finished the last 7 games in Glenelgs League side having a real impact. He is an inside midfielder who can play forward and apply terrific pressure. He is tough and wins contested footy. He has an enormous workrate and desire to get the footy. His clean hands and quick handballs are elite. Lachie is an outstanding character. Lachie’s testing at the state combine was impressive across the board. His standing VJ of 73 and RVJ of 95 is elite. His 8.24 agility, 14.2 beep and 3.00 sprint are all very good times as well. Lachie averaged 31.3 disposals, 5.6 marks, 5.1 inside 50s and 6.4 clearances per game at SA U18 level.

Pick 58 Fact - Reigning Brownlow Medallist Dane Swan was selected by Collingwood at pick 58 in the 2003 National Draft.

Rookie Player Rating (MID) 6.5/10 - not sure about the mancrush but looked impressive at the intra club hitout, averaged 20 disposals in the sanfl, bog in teh under 18's final. Thinking he would make a good cash cow rook but not sure about opportunities at FREO? One to watch as he does seem to have skills

Ross doesn't tend to play rookies but I'd be LYON if I said he won't get a game next year! ;D

Hi Colliwobblers, really great stuff mate!

any chance you can have a look at ryan hargrave? he had an interupted 2010 season. from reports i've heard, he's had a great pre-season and was solid in the western bulldogs intra game. surely at his price he is well worth considering?

Cheers

Rookie Player Rating (DEF) 8/10 - cheep cheep like a chicken, and that rates him high, risk reduced against that cost price. a bargain for a player of his ability, almost a lock if he has a great pre-season which he has, at least as important to the bulldogs success as lake and has a spot with his name on it in the teams best. Concern is why he dropped off from 09 to 10, we know why 2011 happened as injuries ruined his season. How well he comes back what role he plays under the new coach and how long he lasts will determine his value in DT. VERY VERY tempting if he plays nab cup and plays it well at just over $230K you HAVE TO consider. great find.

Hey mate, just wondering if you can do a bit of research of some Richmond players, Trent Cotchin mainly, and then 2 of the ruckman in I.Maric and T.Derrickx.

Cheers mate.

Mid Priced Player Rating (MID) 8/10 - break out season looms, if he stays fit and breaks out as he is predicted to do and should do he will be a handy pick, well priced and will lift enough to be a last mid or make you a lot of money or be sideways traded to an underperforming elite. The fact is if he stays injury free chances are he will be elite by the end of 2012. Loses points for proneness to injury.
