Hey cw,

Awesome job with all the profiles, was wondering if you could evaluate Steele Sidebottom & Sam B. Reid (SYD)? Thanks!

2011 season wrap = Never cracked the ton, high of 89, played about every game and had a wide range of scores with a low of 12.

The youngster showed his enormous potential in 2011 and it was no surprise the Swans signed him to a new five-year deal at the end of the season.

Held down centre half-forward all season, sitting out just one game in round 24 due to calf tightness.

Has terrific hands and led Sydney with 45 contested marks.

Needs to add bulk to his frame and improve on a return of 22.26 in front of goal but has all the hallmarks of a future star.

Player honours: NAB AFL Rising Star nominee 2011.

Draft history: 2009 NAB AFL Draft 3rd round selection (Sydney) No. 38 overall.

Mid Priced Player Rating: (FWD) 5.5/10 - ok harsh sure, it takes a key forward awhile to develop so while reid is coming along niceley and the club are wrapped with him a DT owner would not be happy last season or again this season, I predict a significant lift in his average even to the 70's is possible, but i would not have him even at $100K less. You can do better and with the likes of Brown and Christensen and even porps and windy around about that price give or take there are far better options, is he a player of the future tho, you bet he is.

thanks for Brad McKenzie mate, watching his youtube video - reckon he will be a freakin star one day.

would you be able to do Hayden Crozier?
cheers again mate

Reckon your spot on with Bradley mate, and if the stupid government doesnt legislate to stop this broadcasting nonsense with optus, the money that continues to grow and pour into the game will only create an environment to bring more and more outstanding kids into the comp each year. Money talks and broadcasting rights are money money money...

Anyway I digress

Rookie PLayer Rating: (MID/FWD) 7/10 - OK absolute potential gun 100%, not sure on his JS both being at the dockers and being "slight of frame". Takes a good grab, ok thats well documented but regularly kicked bags of 4 and 5 goals in a crap team last season, is a half forward flanker who finds the footy and finds the goals. Watch his nab cup and for news on a role in the side for him and signs he is ready for the big league, may be one too watch as a mid season upgrade target, but still dubious on a spot for him in the dockers line up. But they didn't take him at 20 for nothing....

Hey mate thanks for that could you please do Big Sandilands and Sam Jacobs please...
Thanks in advance mate
Jalapeno

Yes Jacobs has been done can't remember what page, but with his easy draw he is my round 11 bye lock, it was him or burger and Jacobs really came of age last season and put a very good season together as the year went on. This year he will be better and so is his draw so 1 + 1 = 2 (and he'll probably break his bl00dy toe :) ) speaking of toes...

2011 season wrap: Managed 13 games due to turf toe and the return of turf toe. Freak injury? short term injury? not likely to reoccur injury? These are the things that sould right and that we hope are right because not many rucks have the cieling of Sandi. 5 tons a high of 129, add 5 90+ , 2 70+ and the injury effected 47, and you can pretty much bank on a 100-110 average from Sandi free of injury.

Premium Player Rating (RUCK) 9/10 - only question you need ask about Sandi this season is , is he fit and healthy? the two articles above say he is, the nab cup will prove it further. He had a bad run with his toe last season but the three seasons before he played almost every game so the speculation on his health may be overstated. the liklihood of any ruckman other than Cox outscoring him is almost inconceivable, I will start jacobs on price and mummy is keeping sandi's seat warm becasue if sandi comes up he will take the otehr starting spot on my field with cox missing out to jacobs on sheer price.

Sickening scores for a guy not in your team.... 2 90's and 3 80's completed his H&A scores and his finals which we don't care about in DT land were 144,125 and the lowly 65 in the big one.

Bottom line have this guy in every game in 2012 or it will cost  you.  Not doing any articles he is Swan there is nothing else you need to know.

Mid Priced Player Rating FWD/MID 6/10 - my personal oppinion, he is a mid priced player to start with, but more like high 300K to low 400K, so all going well he could be a bargain and a great cash cow, he could go down with injury AGAIN as he regularly has, or he could lift and be a keeper as he has hinted at becoming in the past, looks good to go for 2012 but watch very closely in nabcup before jumping on. Higher rating would have applied but the risk is SIGNIFICANT.

Mid Priced Player Rating (DEF/MID) 7/10 - the kid is a gun no question hit 90 in a game last season will likely get more opportunities and improve again this season. Well priced but risky as a rookie at a mid price, have to watch form in nabcup and or watch him as he hits the bubble early season but he is one to keep an eye on, WILL be a STAR.

2011 DT Wrap - 21 games, 8 tons with the best 141 for a few other big ones, 7 90's to add to the tons and you get a picture of his consistancy, really broke out last season bringing more evidence to the 3rd year rule, expect more of the same this year, but makes a tough pick against the popular martin this season on the same bye and zaka and sidebottom on the round 12 bye, but unique and safe all the same.

Premium Player Rating (FWD/MID) 8.5/10 - Premium player for your FWD line bit of a unique when up against the likes of martin zaka and sidebottom this season which will all be highly picked, add to them the mid priced players in brown christensen dangerfield and the solid picks like fyfe pav stevie j and buddy and you may be unique in having robo but you'll be safe as houses too.
