i will be watching him in the preseason matches. palmers move to GWS and Pavs fwd role for next year will help his and barlows scoring

hot and cold has potential but i doubt consistancy, i bundle him up with the likes of betts, burgoyne, didak (lately), gian, missy, all capable small forward/mid time players that can rack up DT scores but can have a decent game also and score a 40.

Pass.

dmagnus

Pushing into the mids, don't think many will take the risk so happy to say that I will be.

me

i actually am a bit tempted by him, he's shown he can pump out the big score, a move to the midfield would surely result in some colossal dt scores --- but how much midfield time would it be?

Ballant is actually one of my dark horses for fowards. Ballant avg 72 last year. Yes I understand that he has other midfield to compete with but now hes taking on more of a Pav role from last year, numbers might very well increase to at least 85-90 that's not bad for a 350k priced player. Also don't forget Pav will be more of a Key forward this year and his numbers may very well drop

He's a crazy little sucker and takes risks I love that in a DT player. He will love the movement in the mid his speed will make him a goto man in my opinion and is most likely the reason for the move to mids in the first place.

That and solid tackling skills, should score well but main concern is staying fit.

Check the numbers MP.  Pav actually averages about 5 points per game more at CHF compared to midfield.

Yes at CHF not FF which is pretty much where Pav will end up playing this year, and will rely heavily on accuracy for goal to score anything.

Lyon has only said that Pav will be playing more forward.  IMO I doubt Pav will be going to FF as the resting ruckman (ie Sandi) will most likely go there or Zac Clarke/Keplar Bradley will be playing out of FF

So he's a lock in your team then Valkz? Or you not gonna give anything away? hahaha :))

Kuruki

I reckon Pav will play around the chf. Dipping his big nose into the midfield every now and then if he needs to. Clarke and Kepler will be the main targets in the pocket. Pav will make their lives easier by drawing all the attention.
Reckon Zac Clarke will be the Petrie of last year.

Hmmmm the FREO Midfield seems to be a lot of DT hopefuls hoping certain FREO players are in there but can they all fit, we got Broughton, Barlow, Mundy, Hill, Mzungu, Pav (in and out) , now Ballantyne in?? not to mention the guys already locked into the FREO midfield.

I still think he is a flash in the pan, not a DT proven stayer but good luck to all of you who get on him.

Ziplock

for that price range I'd still be putting dids, watts, dangerfield, j riewoldt, j brown, christensen ahead of him in the forward line. All those guys have a potential to average 90+.

That being said, cracked the ton 3 times, had a good ceiling of 140 vs nm, his inconsistency is just a pain, scores under 30, 40, 50 etc.

like, if he develops some more consistency... maybe, but until then, you would need some serious gonads to pick him.

#14
and love the kick to handball ratio lol, 124 DT points vs carlton, 21 kicks, 2 handballs.

I think GAJ should try to emulate that ratio :P

*edit* averages 3.5 tackles per game as well. If he does get mid time, racks up possessions, could be a scary scorer :P
