My backline reads : GODDARD - DELIDIO - BROUGHTON - HEPPELL - WATERS - CLARKE - DOCHERTY - (Mohr,Morris)

I have $7000 in the bank, I need a few quid to upgrade a fwd rook to saad and may potentially use the other change in other rookie upgrades here and there.

So changing from Broughton & Heppel gives me some coin to spend which I need, the obvious option to me would be to take the punt on Grimes which can be offset by allowing an upgrade to the best defender left ( could be shaw or enright saving me even more money), please leave your thoughts.

I only hesitate because I like both Broughton and Heppell at the prices but thoughts are very much appreciated.

Thansk in advance  :)

I;d go Heppell and Ellis, He is risky but could rack it up. other options are Newman, Fisher, Houli and Hanley but I think Ellis would be the most rare and if he pays off it will be great.

If your talking about Xavier Ellis, which I think you are, his spot in the side is not clear. Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't play many games next year.

Heppell and Broughton purely because of how fit Heppell looks here:

Great point and nice research, remind me to ask you all my questions seem to be doing yur homework!

That shot of heppell does not even look like that scraggly kid from last year.

I think you could find the extra cash you need by swapping docherty for a cheaper rookie. Word on the street is docherty will miss the start of the season due to surgery. can anyone confirm?

Hard to say will have to wait and see, but it is said here he will be back in plenty of time to start the season

On Dec 23 they said he had just had Surgery, I'm sure he will be up and training with the Lions 3 or 4 weeks before the start of the season.
