RESET the poll, there has been a lot of discussion about mid and low priced defenders and I am interested to know who is on peoples radars.

Previous poll standing

WATERS - 10
GRIMES - 10
HIBBERD - 1
OTHER NOT LISTED - 4

please vote again and feel free to comment especially if there is someone on your radar not in the list.

Grimes because he has better scoring consistency and he is ever so cheaper. Hibberd is way too much of a risk

As an Essendon supporter i think Hibberd will be in the starting 22 all season baring injury and will want to make up for his mishaps off field he gets the ball and knows how to use it very accurate kick cant wait to have him back

I am looking closely at Nathan grima and Matthew Jaensch. Couple of years ago Grima was really good, and last year his year was ruined by injuries. And Jaensch moved to the halfback flank, and might really help his scoring for next year.

If i knew Hibbered was going to play 22 games this year, he would be in my side. I think there is more upside in him this year then Heppel.

Grimes is currently in my team, I cant see myself picking waters at all, unless he comes out and smashes preseason and Hibberd is too much of a risk IMO

well a lot of comments for grimes but the poll is even, given the calibre of people going grimes maybe ill have to look closer at both through nab cup.

Football Factory

Waters at the moment but if Grimes is fit ill give him 1 last go

as a unique duffield? new coach might take him back to his high 80's average?

someone posted on here that he was supposed to be training as a quarterback being Lyon's new Goddard. Good value if he does play that role considering he also averaged high 80s in 2010.
