Pretty good well rounded team there.

I like your backs good mix of premiums and rookies and a bit of a risk with burgoyne

your midfield is good also another risk in hayes

cant fault your rucks

For your forwardline get in buddy he is a must IMO

pretty good team with 1 risk in each line (not including ruck) which is great

Ringo

Well rounded team here.  Only prem I would have added is Buddy but each to his own. Would have preferred him to Rioli or Chappy as both have injury concerns.

Warch Lake as well coming back from injury but at that price too good to ignore

Watch Rookies in pre season and for naming of Teams as I doubt all will be named for round 1.

Overall my rating 8.5/10 mainly due to the concerns with both Rioli and Chappy.

Hi mate,

You've done a good job and I think this is probably the best squad I've seen on here yet. I won't bang on and repeat what the other guys have said but I will say I'm not a fan of Didak, but his viability will be dependant on whether Buckley favours him or not. Time will tell.

Great squad 9/10.

Like the team heaps.
The only issue to me is your foward line. Just an opinion I would swap Rioli and Chappy for
Buddy  and Zaharakis. Got no problem with Didak at all,  should be the bargin of 2012.

Hey DC - version 2 does look a tad "sturdier". Chappy and Cyril are just heart in mouth prospects as far as hammies go - good get if they come off though.

I like the 14 "keeper", 4-4 strong mid depth. I like the punt on Burgoyne, the rucks very solid (this position is likely to be the pod for many sides as many combos make appeal).

My main concern is Lenny Hayes. He is fantastic at 400 oddk - i know he looks a bargain, but really i cant visualize him being top 15. I would probably look at taking a punt on a dpp mid/forward eligibility. Someone like Sidebottom/Robinson If the guy doesnt take off he can be moved to the forwards.

A mid is a far more valuable commodity and as such 32 year old vet returning from a reco doesnt really appeal as top 15 material.

Hey guys, i have been playing around with the team a bit and have a couple that i thought were pretty good, change was mainly burgoyne to grima which saved up $100000 and grima is said to be smashing it on the track for pre season. let me know what you all think, changes i can make include dropping zaharakis to brown and upgrading grima to broughton, etc. The reason i have put hodge in team 1 and not selwood is because swan, selwood and barlow would all have the round 12 bye which could be risky, any thoughts guys? :)

Im a kangas fan and i saw grima play alot last year. He was hobbling around unfit. I wouldnt be getting him. Also not sure about didak.
I like the 3rd one. Very Good midfield. Please rate my team on other topic.

DC2011

thanks mate, but i might take a risk on him, if he can average 91 again like he did in 2010 then il be happy, this is an article from the afl website last week on norths pre season, could be a good pick up :)

Summer superstar
It's hard not to notice Nathan Grima at North's pre-season sessions. Now well and truly over the back injury that wrecked his 2011, Grima is consistently at the front of the running groups and his sure ball-handling and pin-point disposal are just as eye-catching. Daniel Wells, who has been restricted to light competitive work, has used the pre-season to build his running power. At the last session of the year he ran down the Kangaroos' middle-distance king Lachie Hansen in the last few strides of an 800m race involving the full list, underlining his gains. Of the younger brigade, Shaun Atley is wowing his teammates with his feats in the gym.

good defence mate, interesting to see how lake and davis go. im still deciding whether to go with burgoyne or not. midfield is a bit weak as it only has the two super premiums so maybe use up the salary and get rid of zaharakis for daniel cross as a possibility for $520k. rucks are alright, mcevoy should be getting the big scores as he did last year but cant be sure on kreuzer just yet. forward line looks pretty good, if you did want zaharakis then you could get rid of riewoldt for him but up to you, about an 8/10 mate, strong defence and forwards with a couple of risks, good luck mate :) how does my team look?

jamesalex

Really good team, good too see you put Buddy in, and like the choice of Zaharakis, i'm looking at Grima as well, will watch his NAB cup. All 3 of the teams you put up are solid, i like the 2nd one most though. Interested in your choice of Koby Stevens, what's your reason behind picking him?

Here's mine if you could please rate it:

thanks mate and yeah about koby stevens, same as nathan grima, there was an article on west coasts pre season, each club has a pre season report on the afl website, the west coast one had this so i thought id take a punt on him:

Summer superstar
Koby Stevens was restricted by osteitis pubis and then a knee injury in his first two pre-seasons at West Coast, but he is relishing a clean bill of health this summer. The powerful inside midfielder is a touch leaner, running just behind pacesetter Luke Shuey and giving himself every chance to play early games in 2012.

now your team, good defence although not sold on enright anymore, bit worried about age, turns 31 this year. midfield is very similar to mine and looks strong, hopefully barlow comes off for us. rucks are good and the forwards are pretty good, watch porpas in the nab cup, not sold on him yet, 8/10 mate :)
