He's not really in trouble with the casino, they even said themselves it was someone else and he was just with that group.
The only thing he did wrong was stay out all night ;)

Agreed but the person who urinated on the pokies machine has dragged his name through the mud too by association. Unfortunate but that's the price of fame.

I thought they were being a bit generous calling him a star ? :P

Never forget the story about how Symes broke both hands.  :P

Or Nigel Smart (I think it was him) burning his feet on hot coals :P.

Water off a Crows back it seems with Bernie, on the Wednesday night after this happened he was spotted out AGAIN at Flashdance strutting some very bad dance moves  ::)

Oh Bernie *shakes head

It would never have happened if John Reid was still football manager, no siree!

I love telling the Symes story.

Ahem:

After a hard practice session the bogan good folk of the Adelaide F.C decided walking 500 meters to the club room was just too much for their aching limbs to manage. A bright spark among the group voiced his opinion that they should hop in his car (more than likely a cheap commodore) and drive to the club rooms instead. So they all hopped in but sadly Mr. Symes found himself without a car seat. 'But not to matter,' he yelled. "I'll sit on the boot instead." He added with a smile.

The player slammed her in first giving gear a good grind, One player chastised the dirver: "If yah can't find 'em, grind
em." They sped off on their journey of half a click. Bit of Barnesy playing on the stereo

The driver must have forgot/didn't give a stuff/held a grudge (probably for turning the ball over) about Symes and floored it over a speed bump.....Symes went flying off to stop his fall he put both hands out thus breaking his hands.

The end.

That may be the best story I have ever heard. Lazy so and so's ;)

Hahahahahahahahahahaha welcome to my DT... Brad Symes...!

I think Vince is in for a huge year. There is a lot of people who have been calling him a dud but with the emergence of some other young guns due for a big year Vince may lose the tag and run riot. I think give the man a break he is only human.

Windigo

I too rate Vince pretty highly. His cheap enough too. But he really needs a solid pre-season and some really impressive performances at the start of the year.

Knowall

A classic off-season story. ie making a headline out of nothing

Vince is elite when hes at his best and will score elite in both SC and DT.

As far as Im concerned hes supposedly in good shape (which he hasnt been last two years)
In control of his knee issues.

He was playing alot on the wing last year so hopefully him being in good shape will mean that he can return to his inside/outside game and be a gun again.

FWIW Vince can break the tag, you look at 2009 when they tried to tag him.

I think a real possibility of scoring 100+ next year.  Returning to his absoloute best maybe around 110

McRooster

Trust is a must with Bernie and his point scoring ball receive as an inside/outside MF.

The difference between BV and trust within the group is exponential.

If the playing group donna have the faith then they ain't gonna dish it off to Bernie.

Bernie is gonna have to get it himself, a role that Sando is unlikely to give him....
