Not bad looking SC side. Can't really fault any lines, if it were me I'd try and work in a Buddy/Pav/Fyfe just to strengthen your fwds a bit.

thanks samcro yes im having doubts about martin starting as well as we are all hoping / being told he will with tough start of his draw... thinking pav, maybe fyfe tho if he fit and i can afford

Hey Colliwobbles,
also returning a favour for your rating of my team.

Backs: seem pretty spot on, no complaints aside possibly docherty not being a starter, possibly consider moving smedts in his place and a Saad, Pfeiffer etc.. in his place.

Mids: Fantastic no complaints at all. well set out inc the DPP link.

Rucks: personal choice but no complaints there

Forwards: seems to lack a bit of star power for mind, ideally id like to think there are more points accrewable in the forward line compared to the backline.
possibly consider downgrading Christensen to a rookie, and upgrading Zaharakis and Sidebottoms to top end premium's but that also comes down to personal choice

Solid Team. Know you are a pies supporter but personally I think Pendles will slide a little value wise due to Pies tough early draw. He seems imo to go missing a little against top sides. Swan may be the better option initially for you. I hope to have both ny seasons end though.
Like the choice of Jacobs for Ruck as he will have little competition at crows.
Forwards would probably like to see and additional prem in there for team balance, Know SC is about risks but you are anticipating break out years for Martin, Zaha and Sidebottom. That is why I would prefer to see one of Buudy, Fyfe,Pav or Stevie J in this line.
Not commenting on rookies apart to say select the best that are playing in round 1.
8/10 for the team.

The Plan C is Martin has a tough first half draw, I would upgrade him to Pav, but then too many on the round 12 bye, so who to change Martin too is my next team dilemna.

Plan C I know I have been saying Goodes starts slowly but looking at Swannies draw this could be the season that he turns tradition on its head, May also be worth considering ROK also with this draw, Can see not many other options who do not have round 12 bye unless you want to take a risk with N Roo or Robbie Gray.

Sydney also have round 12 bye but grey is tempting if we think the ball will find its way forward in a port team, i suppose it did enough for him to score ok last season. And Grey is a fiar bit cheaper than martin so......

Forgot Pies also had bye in Round 12. Do not have my special sheet with me in LA. Gray may be serviceable till byes and then you can upgrade,

You sold me on Swan and I am even thinking the swans ranga too after his form in the intra club match and trade him out close to the bye. We know wh have to cop a couple of donuts accross the ground due to the ruck matter we have discussed so hopefully i can work one of my compulsory donuts to be in round 12 in the fwd line.

So here is plan C goodes wins out over Pav and Rohan to be upgraded before round 12 bye

Yes it is thats why i am not dropping Barlow who sucked, but Fyfe was only out of my team due to fitness / health / injury, so if he is good to go already then by round 1 he should be motoring :-X
