teams seem to be getting strong :P
I don't see anything out of sorts with your backline
with your mids, I think Pfeiffer would serve you better as a forward, probably in place of ah chee- there's just so many decent midfield options, there's no need to slide him in there, even for a dpp link.
I think the choice of Ziebell as a mid pricer.
rucks are solid, value choices, sandilands will should improve on his value considerably, and hmac is chronically underpriced.
forwards: I don't rate stevie J highly- considering his rollercoaster tendencies, he's over priced, I'd prefer to pick him up later in the season after a poor patch. The rest I like- pavlich is, oddly enough, looking like a bit of a unique. Could really pay for you, especially if he slots back into forward, where he scores his most DT points. The rest are standard, solid pick.

Hey Zip,

Thoughts on Bluesters. Trying to get a balance towards the byes. $157800 splash cash in the kitty.

Goddard, Deledio, Adcock, Heppell, Armstrong, Docherty, Mohr (Morris, Spur)
Ablett, Selwood, Thompson, Barlow, Shiel, Zorko (Mitchell, Kerridge)
Luenberger, McEvoy (Giles, Stephenson)
Fyfe, Martin, Sidebottom, Gray, Christensen, Saad, Smedts (Treloar, Walsh)

Am considering swapping Luenberger for Jacobs.

Backs: Adcock is a pretty ballsy pick- but I can see why you would go for him, if he can stay uninjured, he's demonstrated he can average close to 100 (early 2011 season), and with the lack of premium backs, fair call. Armstrong is also pretty gutsy- personally, I wish I could slide him in, but atm my structure doesn't allow it. I don't think I would be going both these guys though tbh.
Mids: Don't even need to talk about, all solid picks.
Rucks: leuen seems to be the most popular ruck going around- honestly, if hudson hadn't been picked up, he would have been my first pick in the team. Hudson is a little worrying though with the potential to sap his DT points.
Fwds: your fwds had probably suffered a bit. I'd be cautious of fyfe, for various reasons, his slight body, coming off a BOY. I'd be really hesitant about picking a port adelaide player, let alone an injury prone forward... I'd be monitoring gray very carefully. He did finish the year strongly, and his average is underpriced due to his roudn 8 injury. Then again, he went missing in roudn 5 vs gc... that's just concerning.

mostly a solid team- you haven't taken too many risks, and are running with some unique options, it could work out, but I'd keep a close eye on the ones I've highlighted.

Can't fault the backline at all, as you said, rookies are nowhere near locked in.
Mids: the only thing that I find concerning is that you're playing so many mid pricers- not in itself a bad thing, but considering you can slide christensen and martin into the forward line, and still maintain a dpp link through zorko, I think it's a bit of over kill. You'll be missing out on the best rookies, sacrificing them for sub-par fwd ones.
Rucks: I'd be slightly concerned of Cox's over pricing- if you're his age, and are coming off a fantasy best season, I'd be hesitant to start him. I have similar concerns with scotland/ goodes as well
Fwd: Riewoldt and brown are both relatively risky picks. However, a fit brown cant be ignored, and if riewoldt recaptures form he'd be an amazing pick, so good luck with that :)

Basically, my only real criticism is that you're losing valuable midfield rookies like mitchell etc. by playing midpricers who could feature in your forward line.

interesting team.
Backs: Very strong. I'd be wary of scotland- had a career best season at his age means he's going to be over priced, I'd prefer not to punt on him. I'd watch broughts pre-season, if someone like spurr is promoted off the rookie list, jump on.
Mid: Your first three are no brainers if you have the cash. Gibbs is a great unique- he can seriously pump his average up this year (to premium mid imo), and since he lost his DPP he'll be ultra unique... I hope it pays off for you. Keep an eye on stevens, but from all accounts he's having a ripper pre-season.
Rucks: leuen... is a bit worrying with hudson. It's a big punt fielding giles, but could certainly pay off if he gets a decent enough avg (80 isn't beyond him), you've saved a ton of cash :)
Fwd: Beams is another player I feel is over priced. At the around 100 mark for forwards, I would be ranking him lowest. Couch can't play this year can he? You're the second person I've seen slide Lewis into their team.. it's a ballsy pick, but personally I don't think I'd have the guts to go him- he's just been hovering around that quasi premium stage long enough to be concerning...could be a good pick though, he did monster the end of 2011, and just had lower scores at the start dragging his average down.

Hopefullyat at the start o the season I will be able to aford the mac. Yeh Lewis is a definite risk an I could change him to zaha but as you said he had a poor start to the season which was due to his forward tagging role. But I temember watching his last game of the year against the pies and he carved in a normal midfield role. I reckon he could be a good unique to get me a car

Backs: Your first three are solid. God and lids will be two of the most picked backs, while shaw could be a bit unique. Your next three are... interesting... Suckling is a bit of a punt- he's at premium price, but he  really tapered off at the end of the year, only averaging 80 from his last 8 H/A games. But including finals, only averaging 68 from his last 11. I'd just be a bit careful :P Broughton, obviously monitor his role- he has the potential to score well, but if he's being used as a lock down defender... pass. Waters could be a great pick if he has an injury free pre-season, I tip him to finally hit a 90+ avg tbh.

Mids: Swan and Ablett will be the no.1 and 2 highest avging mids in most likelyhood. Barlow is definitely up there to potentially be in the top 5 as well. Your rookie choices are solid- maybe a little GWS heavy, but really good nonetheless.

Rucks: Jacobs  should continue to dominate as pretty much the only adelaide ruckman, another yearo lder/mature, could pump his scores to 90+. You've then gone Giles as no.2 ruck, and jenkins since he'll probably get games as a precaution for Jacobs, and stephenson is a no brainer 4th ruck. Good enough, maybe a bit risky, but if you can use the cash elsewhere, go for it :)

Fwds: Pretty expensive, if chappy bounces back you'll look like a genius but I would be careful. Buddy is another no brainer. I'd be careful around fyfe coming off a breakout year- honestly Pav is a better starting option in my opinion, especially if he gets to  play more fwd where he scores best. Martin looks  great as a potential break out player, and people would have to be stupid not to consider him,  Robinson could be a good pick- after round 10 last year he only dropped below 90 twice in H/A games, and also racked up a 126 in carltons loss to WCE in the finals. His consistency was really noticeable in rounds 15-20, where his scores only fluctuated between 90 and 96. Considering he's still (relatively young), and shouldn't have peaked, that consistency is something you really want- especially when he's demonstrated a pretty solid ceiling already (141 vs PA), so if he can lift his game a bit, he could really beast it.

Overall, a pretty solid team, just needs a little tweaking- your backline is probably the biggest worry atm :P

Backs: First 4 I really rate. I also love the look of armstrong this year- if named round one could be a really great pick (I wish I could fit him into my team). Killer backline basically :P
Mids: Your first 2 have the potential for a 120+ average, and imo rocky could really push his average up to 115-120 as well (although a slip is a possible too, it's a bit of a coin flip). Barlow has a shot to finish with a top 6 average, which is amazing for his price. Good rookie choices.
Rucks: Nothing to really doubt he- Jacobs is the only decent ruck at the crows, and should be able to carve up, pushing his scores higher, while sandi is underpriced for someone who'll end up 1 or 2 for the highest average. Standard benchies.
fwds: well, franklin and cloke are both beasts (their inconsistency may drive you up the wall some days though), martin and sidebottom are two of the best choices of BOY's as well, so solid forward line. It feels a little light, but if you can pick the perfect rookies, it'll be solid enough. IMO, I'd be playing Zorko on the field, in the fwds rather than benches in the mids.

good team, not really any major faults at all.
