NBA 2k12

Sorry if there is already a thread for this, but I got this game for Christmas and I am loving it.
Playing My Player mode, got drafted to the Sixers and played 2 games coming off the bench.
Any tips on increasing my Teammate Grade, and getting as many skill points as possible?

doesnt look like it, was discussed in the Madden 12 thread a bit, a few of us have it havent been playing much lately tho but its cool...

i got drafted by the Jazz at pick 12, played 10 games asked for a trade to Miami and got it, now the starting PG for The Heat 8)

I'm thinking of getting it, but they don't have the rights to use the proper rookies and that is one of the main reasons I buy the games each year. Love building young teams and dominating 2 or 3 years down the track.

Didn't want to get this. Huge problems compared to 2K11. Waiting till 2K13 for me :P

What huge problems? Saw it in JB - graphics got even better... I still haven't finished my myplayer game in 2k11 yet.

3-3 in western finals vs lakers with the nuggets, starting SG avg 35ppg, 9rpg and 5apg.

CPU are inconsistent, including your team mates in My Player. Forces you to take Jump shots, hard to drive to the basket. Centers are as fast as PG, even on Fast Breaks ::)

I have 2k11. Too cheap to upgrade ATM. :P

I'm an overall 99 SG for the Pacers. MVP, Scoring leader etc. Just to good. I got drafted to Miami but I couldn't stand being the only star at the club. So I go out of there. :P

I haven't touched 2k11 but last time I checked I was something like 75, Centre for the Bobcats

Im in my second season and done sfa. I really suck at this game.

Yeah, it takes a little while to get used to. I've bumped the difficulty up to superstar and I'm still slaying. 30 P.P.G. 8)

I hate this game. It bloody crashed on me in my second season, so no I have to complete almost 2 seasons worth of progress again. Is there anyway to simulate entire seasons?
Dynasty mode is sick as though :D

Is there a fast way to get a rating that high? have had the game for about 3 weeks and I'm only 67 rating SG!

Yeah that happened to me. All I did was just delete the game from the HDD of the ps3 and re-install the disc. Your save file is separate and it worked perfectly. :)

In terms of getting up fast. Just try and get fast break points. So when an opposing player takes a shot, you start running to your hoop. If he misses, hopefully your big man rebounds and he'll just pass it to you for an easy 2 points. Only upgrade skills that fit your play type at first.

As in don't upgrade your rebound level when your play style is scoring. ::)
