Def: Couple of midpricers may be a risk, good choice of premiums and unique rookies.
Mid: Shiels and Barlow could go either way, good use of DPP with 3 links but is taking away some good midfield rookies such as Mitchell, Shiel and Kavagnah.
Ruck: Alright strategy, relatively unique premo's and good/common rookies.
For: More good use of mid/for DPP with many premium c/f's with quite unique rookies.

Rating: 834/1000

Thanks. I have Shiel ;) Mitchell I don't see getting that many games & Kavanagh could get in but not sure who for at this stage.

Def: Good mix of premo and rook, Birchall and Armstrong could be better imo.
Mid: Good gun players however there is no B/C DPP link in there so sort that out. Good rookie selection.
Ruc: Strong with the routine Leuen/Stepho/Giles. Mummy is better at SC.
For: No Chapman or Johnson? Porp is 200k not worth it imo, good rookie selection.

Def: Good guns but two midpricers who are injury prone is a risk. Good rookie choice.
Mid: Good guns however I do not think there are any B/C DPP links in there unless Clifton is who I don't know about.
Ruc: Almost the exact same as mine, I got Jenkins not Rowe though.
For: Good guns and rookies. The best line in your team in my opinion.

Def: Connors is a huge risk, but good premos and rookies.
Mid: Mundy a unique that may just work, good rookies and guns. No DPP though to forwards or backs is a worry.
Ruc: Regular rookies with a rather unique premo set-up.
For: Winderlich again may be a huge risk as with Brynes, good guns though.

Def: Very strong but two midpricers may be a risk, I'd downgrade one to a rookie and upgrade the other to a premium.
Mid: Good guns may be a bit cheap with Barlow and Hayes, good rookies whoever there should be B/C and C/F DPP links which will be very important when the byes roll around.
Ruc: Good system.
For: Strong again, Porp is a tad too much imo at 200k, bit cheap premiums, good rookies.

Defence needs work, just not sure who to get at the moment. got 81k to work with

Def: As you said, is very weak. For a start I'd downgrade Lake and use that money and the 81k you have in the bank to upgrade Armstrong to a premium.
Mid: Pretty strong.
Ruc: Another way to get more money for defence is to downgrade Sandilands to a rookie like Redden or Jenkins, then use that money to upgrade a rookie backman.
For: This is where loads of your money is being siphoned off. Downgrade Porp and one of Didak/Winderlich to ~100k rookies, and upgrade a defender to a premium. With the rest of your money which should be a medium amount upgrade a forward or defender.
