Any thoughts on Dalziell, Stevens and Strijik from WCE?
urquhart- basically, not much. He only played one game as a sub, and only picked up 7 DT points in over a quarter. Didn't seem to impress NM, as he was dropped next week, and certainly didn't impress my DT senses. Given his game history over the last few seasons, and that NM are improving as a team and should make the 8 next year, I don't rate his JS as high.
dick- eh reasonable enough... everyone knows he has the skills and talent, it's just his constant injury that's held him back. If he gets over that, his JS isn't really an issue, even in WCE.
(marty?) clarke- I would think solid enough. He used to play for the pies, and they clearly targeted him from GWS, which would indicate that he has the skills to fill a spot somewhere in their side. He hasn't played for a couple of years due to choice (he wanted to be back in ireland), not from form/ injury. Should also have decent fitness as well, since he has been playing Gaelic back home.
webberley-I would say not high. Richmond are another team that should see substantial improve next year, and webberly is a guy who was subbed 4 times last year, and didn't manage to pick up a single touch in his last game. Even in his unsubbed game he only scored 37. He did have a few strong efforts considering his game time, but even so, his JS isn't really high, and neither is his scoring potential.
wilkes- The saints picked him up for some reason, and he did have a killer final game playing in Bgrade premiership... but on the otherside, he only picked up 6 games in 2010 playing for the woodenspooners, maybe if named round one, but I hope our rookies aren't so depleted we'd have to punt on him. I think he'll be given a chance, what he makes of it though, I don't know.
wilkes-

Dalziell- Scoring potential isn't really an issue for this guy, it seems to be js. Unless there's an injury I don't know about? Really struggled to get a game last year.
Stevens- Basically the same as Dalziell
Strijik- Same as Stevens and Dalziell
Basically, I'd be concerned about those 3. I mean, if they get named round one, sure. But if not... the eagles went from nothing to a top 4 team last year, I can't see them messing significantly with a team structure that is clearly working.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how awesome is your picture?  ;D

And will you be having the RockRedBerger combination?

fran

my question. Do you have to be such a post whore and quadruple post to answer questions?  ;)

100 :P

and no :P I can't bring myself to get redden and rockliff when ablett and selwood are pretty much the same price. The recruitment of hudson scares me a little off leuen, and I'm going relatively cheap on my rucks this season :P

my question. Do you have to be such a post whore and quadruple post to answer questions?  ;)

the answer is yes. I used to just group posts together when they came in bulk, but people sometimes don't read the whole of a post that doesn't concern them (for instance, if I put doyles post in this response, he might just read the quote from fran, and then skip the post, since he's looking for his own response).

I started to feel bad/ get annoyed when people missed my answers, and either didn't get my advice, had to post again, or sent me pm's, so it's easier if I just post everything separately.

and I'm a post whore.

Franklin. Despite his hard start to the season, the guys the only young proven premium forward in the competition. You're banking a lot on beams at that price, having only played 14 games last season, and that being his break out year.

I would go sidebottom. He was tipped to break out last year, and didn't really, with only a small point increase. Makes it seem more probable this year, especially as he (and beams as well) have been earmarked for more mid time. But the 15 point difference, makes sidebottom a more attractive option than beams ftr. I'd be wary of zaha coming off a BOY, stats show that forwards often have a down year following their break out.  Robinson is a maybe, considering how strongly he finished last season. Basically, if I was to rank them it'd go Sidebottom, Robinson, Zaha.

monitor the pre-season though- picking the right one of those 3 could be crucial.

Jacobs and Mcevoy - Jacobs has the easiest draw in the comp, and both him and mcevoy are young, no.1 (or, pretty much only) ruckmen at their clubs.

you sent me that in one of your pm's 'Grimes and Qrmatng' to be exact. Who the flower is Qrmatng?

drop one of your links for hayes. Since you can now move dpp around while trading, having the link in your midfield isn't as necessary :)
