considering him as a back any thoughts

my back mid price thoughts so far for a smokie are

carlisle , tony armstrong , petrenko , any others around the 270k or under mark that would be better

Petrenko is more like 340k and a mid last I checked.

didn't rate petrenko at all until this year where he really started looking very good

i'd expect more improvement this year as well , but whether it's enough to warrant selection, i am unsure

I REALLY rated Petrenko towards the end of the season, had high hopes of picking him up mid price and keeping him all season in my backline. But price is too high and not as a midfielder so scratch that plan unfortunately.

I rate him also but it depends how his body is holding up. He has higgins-itis and suffers from lots of injuries. Just like Higgins he is a gun but cant stay on the park.

No he is as mid. Well in SC anyway so would be the same for DT ;)
