If you choose other please say who thanks

I would get both personallly, what rookies do you have ahead of these two?

Speculator

They are both in my team at the moment but if I had to choose only one it would be docherty purely because I need a midfield rookie with def eligibility

R.Griffen

I am not convinced M.Clarke will play most games

Speculator

Neither am I but you don't need him to. You need him to play most of the first 8, then ditch him.

Tex-Factor

why would we think he is going to play the first 8 if hes not going to play the rest? ive got both in my team btw.

Docherty.
Marty Clarke will not get much game time for Collingwood and will be put in shutdown roles.

Who is Docherty? I have heard nothing about him. TBH I am a pie supporter, and I think that Marty will slot straight in to the 22. Derek Hine (Collingwood recruiting manager) said they drafted him to slot straight into the team and by all reports he is killing it on the track. He was always a decent scorer back in the day. What is Dochertys potential? Will he get games and do  you think he will score well.

His a Brisbane Defender/Midfielder. Taken at Pick 12 in the draft, Looks like a future gun. I'm surprised that GWS didn't pick him up but am happy he is at a decent club.

Oh fe. Then I would be a bit hesitant to take him over Marty Clark. Marty is 24 years old, big body, experienced player at the same price as Docherty. Jared Polec didnt play much last year (brisbanes number 6 pick), I know he was injured for a while, but he didnt really kick off. I dont know much about Docherty, but as far as experienced backman goes, there are heaps of mature aged players that are rookie priced and will play ie. Marty Clarke, Tim Mohr (GWS), Steven Morris (RICH), Beau Wilkes (ST.K) and i think that Brandon Ellis will get alot of game time as a rookie. Richmond are crying out for defenders and now with deledio pushing into the middle it opens a half back spot. Reports say Ellis has been smashing training and is a weapon of a kick. My tip is jump on!

I've got only docherty as a mid/back link in my midfield. Clarke is a real chance to come in as my 5th forward. I've left Wilkes alone (even though I thought he was great at the eagles) due to his round 13 bye in which we will already struggle with... Unless we milk him before hand... Ellis is the sane deal with Wilkes and to add to that I already have Morris in there. Mohr will be a key back. Don't expect an average of much over 50.

Clarke by a mile. Docherty a chance in my team too though.
