take out J. Grimes (too risky but may pay off) not sure on P. Bower(will be one that I'll look at in NAB Cup), replace B. Longer with O. Stephensen and A. Goodes or S. Johnson to L. Franklin (must have).

Thanks for the feedback Superman! A Goodes against GWS in round 1 sounds fun, but yes I'll put Franklin in and maybe S Rowe for T Walsh.....guess we'll all see how the rookies go in round 1. Here's a revised

I'd boot Conigliio, better value rookies out there. Use extra cash to upgrade maybe Grimes or Jamar

Like the risk you are taking with 2 under priced mid premiums in Hayes and Barlow.
I am also wary of putting top value rookies out sometimes it comes of and sometimes it doesn't so watch pre season form as you may be able to achieve further upgrades by playing lower priced rookies.

Tweaked a little bit to make Midfield stronger straight off the bat. Here's who I'm hoping I can upgrade when they rise in value-

Backs - Bower, Clarke, Buntine, Grimes
Mid - Zorko and maybe Hayes
Rucks - Maric
Fwds - Porp and Saad

This will eat up about 18 trades if I have to double trade. What do you think?

You may also want to look at bnceh rookies as well as they may also become cash cows for you.

Do not put all efforts into upgrades as some may become keepers. Heppell from this year is one that became a keeper for most rather than an upgrade.

Pendelbury has now taken over Chappy's spot, but looking to fit chappy in somewhere.

Maybe trdae Goodes for Chappy - Goo0des usually starts the year slowly and comes up with a wet sail SC wise.  Skill and trick is getting the timing right. If i folllow this years strategy i will probably look at upgrading to Goodes around Rounds 12/13
Goodes averaged 95.9 SC points to Round 11 and compared with a 120.5 average for the last 11 rounds, (Including a 167 and 172)

Not that much cash left... but I guess that's no real biggy.
I'd love to see Ablett in there somehow, even instead of Swan (purely cos I have a huge man crush on the great man)

Like Hayes, proven performer, the backbone of the saints, if he's playing they'll do much better.
Barlow is iffy - at that price, with a SC friendly freo mid of pav, fyfe, mundy and broughton - who knows really!?

The other uncertainty is Chappy, getting on, tight hammys, personally I wouldnt... but watch him go on to get 120+ ppg
