This is the latest version  rip away

Bloods

Backs: Grimes,Drummond both injury prone Lake coming back from Injury and getting old and Bower not getting much game time last year bit risky maybe some mature age rookies could help out there Morris from Richmond

Mids: With forwards alot harder to come by then mids I would have Martin and Zah in your foward line

Rucks: Solid

Forwards: Didak,Roo both were not in grate form and with Brown getting on in age I dont think he will ever get back to his best I would only take one of them.

I am not too smart on the rookies YET, so i shall comment on everything else.

The backline doesn't have too much of a spine. GOD and Lids are great, but Grimes and Drummond brings inconsistency, while Bower just doesn't perform.
I like how you have stacked the mids, although not sold on Hayes at all TBH. Also will point out that its a good thing to aim for people with MPP with a C in it, have them in the other position. Example. try fit one of Martin and Zakky in the fwds.
Rest is fine, although not sold on Gray. watch his pre-season.

Def: Very very strong, no starting first year players.

Mids: Looks a little light on to me, gaj and selwood good picks, hayes risky plus 3 rooks.

Rucks: Great

Fwds: Not sold on j brown, would go didak/winderlich myself but thats a judgement call.

Biggest weakness to me is the mids, that 160k could trade hayes up to someone like a priddis/swallow. Or if your set on keeping hayes, could downgrade broughton to a rookie, then with that money, plus the 160 in the bank, clifton/shiel > swan. Depending on who you could afford, haven't done the maths.

Looking at your team reasonably strong
Backs: Have the Clarke, Grimes, Lake combo which may be a risk.  Not sure of Clarkes position in Pies best 22 and both Grimes and Lake coming back from injury. Possibly downgrade 1 to a rookie and use cash elsewhere.
Mids: Think you need a stronger MS than Hayes. Hayes OK for M4. Zorko may be doubtful for Round 1 as well.
Rucks Great If Rowe is not playing from Round 1 would go Giles and downgrde to Rowe when he commences to play for cash. Need to be done before Round 11 byes though.
Forwards: Would only take one of Brown or Riewoldt similar to Grimes/Lake with both returning from injury.

So overall
Grimes/Lake/Clarke to Rookie back
Shiel/Docherty to a super prem
Brown/Riewoldt to similar priced player  or downgrade to rookie or Porplyza.
rating for this team 8/10

mcpies

not sure about lake , dont think the press will help him...
concern about hayes ,and i cant really coment on gray , he has driven me nuts in the last couple years...
i like the ruck combo , as i think sandi is under priced ...

Reckon you're one defender short, but that's a good side. Very close I think
