Bargain Ruck 2012

I am not ever comfortable with any of the rucks this year...

Might go El Cheapo and then beef up the mids and fwds...

Thinking...

Leu, West (Orren, Giles)

Thoughts? Kinda sucks having West and Orren sharing not only the same possie but the same bye too...

Maybbe but I see both as pretty well locked in the best 21's of their respective teams. Especially West with Vardyn and Simpson with LTI's...

Vardy has just returned to training but is a "6-month prospect." Simpson definately out for 3 months. This makes Stephenson a lock for me, but hopefully he gets enough games to rise in price enough...

stephensen is better and more experienced than west, he will play every game and will challange if not take the #1 ruck spot.

Your theory has payed divends last year and possibly this year, as even I have thought about going down this track for 2012 I just dont see the gains of going for Premium rucks vs the outlay. In the past Sandi and Cox have been head and shoulders above the rest (no pun intended) but this year I think it will be even again in terms of scoring (due to the sub rules)

Personally I'm going down the Kruezer/McEVoy #1 then Giles #2 Bench Stepho and Rowe.

I really think this is the only way to go this year Sandi/Mummy might have a gain of 7-10 or so points a game but Cox,Goldstein and Leuen are Maxed out.

Yeah I am going...

Jacobs + Giles (Rowe, Stephenson)

This way I can pick up the best ruckmen come bye time. A luxury that those who have gone and smashed in some rucks prior to round 1 won't have. Hoping Jacobs can be a gun, not keen to spend the extra 20k on Mummy... Or should I?
