I missed the first Stars game vs Hurricanes. If they play again in Hobart I will def get a ticket!

A friend of mine posted somethin very true on fb
is the sydney and melb team have struggled a bit due to teams like perth or hobart because its basically a state split into to sides with a few exceptaions with players like Afrdi and Faulkner and Gayle etc

Yeah that is true. Also it has split the support as well, if there was only one Melbourne team they would be getting crowds of about 35-40k consistently I reckon. Same goes for Sydney.

I am quite close to their family, I spend a fair bit of time with them. I play cricket and footy with his son and am good mates with him so Merv knows me quite well. He keeps trash-talking the Stars but the Renegades ladder position says it all :P

I have also had a bit of help with my bowling from the great man. Luckily he hasn't given me any advice on run-ups yet :P
