Big Bash Discussion Thread

Went to my first Big Bash game last night  :) Stars could not bat at all...

Where did you sit R&B?

Same spot as always ;) Level 1 row three at the Member's End, close to the sightscreen, about a straight mid-off for a right hander. Good spot. Pretty much behind the bowlers arm but not too close to the sightscreen that it ever gets in my way or anything like that.

Hurricanes so close to getting the win :(

I think when Birt got run out with 1 ball to go Shah should have run so that he got out and Birt was facing the last ball. He would have hit a boundary to get the win! But it was a great effort to try and chase down such a huge target!

Yeah, I'm a member, I have reserved seats.

Hopefully the rain holds off for what should be a great game :) I'll get there pretty early too, cos I get to go into our own private members bar with a perfect view over the ground and guest speakers (some of the players) 8)

Win the first Melbourne Derby! Big crowd last night was great to see, it was a really good atmosphere. Shame about the weather as it was shaping up well (we were in the box seat!) but I'd take the win any day of the week so I'm very happy.
