Win the first Melbourne Derby! Big crowd last night was great to see, it was a really good atmosphere. Shame about the weather as it was shaping up well (we were in the box seat!) but I'd take the win any day of the week so I'm very happy.

Maxwell went down slogging due to the incoming rain... I'd like to think 2 down.

So 28 runs from it. I wish the game had been called off then cos then Hurricanes would have won :(

STARS FOR THE FINALS!! Loved the game tonight! Not convinced about Etihad as a cricket venue, but got the result I was after!

Thank-you very much Brisbane Heat, and also thanks to Brad Hodge the arrogant pri** for playing another stupid shot to put the Renegades behind the 8-ball early!

Stars have got to be the biggest disappointment in the comp. Best team on paper yet they haven't set the comp on fire. Just shows a champion team beats a team of champions :)

Don't speak too soon mate! The first goal was just to make finals and that is pretty much ticked off, it would take a massive win from the Strikers/Thunder to have any chance but it's unlikely they can make up that much NRR so we should be safe.

Once we have made the finals, then we can worry about getting down to business and obliteratig the competition! :D

Home final is too optimistic I think, but I'm really hoping we end up playing Hobart first week of the finals, because I think Perth are a better team than them and the WACA is a huge home ground advantage, but also because I am considering going to Tassie to watch the match if we play them! It's very unlikely I would make the trip down but it's certainly more likely than going to Perth for the day :P
