How about we pretend I played Torp and Nos played Meow this week and they both lose and get knocked out and I play Nos in the final :P

I reckon Holz made a fair ruling, he has stuck with the rule that was used during the season. If there is anything you have to do in the rules of this comp it is be consistent because that is only fair.

yeah you were very lucky to not be in the final you dominated the home and away and posted a great score and still went down. If you had of played anyone else you would be through to the final.

Yeah, I can see your point Torp but you're out.

No point arguing the point, whats done is done.

Always next year, eh? :)

its obviously a good thing this alteration that needed to be made to the rule's was found within the 1st year, but when it was found when a guy has his grand final spot on the line you cant blame him for putting his point of view across a few times......

if the Dino's scored more points before the round off occured id be doing the same thing and im only an assistant......

Im actually still happy with the rule and believe the fair and correct thing happend. The score was a tie under my rules and meow deserves to go through as he earnt the number 2 spot.

I will change it if enough people are against it. But if it were up to me I would keep it as it is.

What does need to be changes is the home ground advantage rule, vest players should not  be counted as the bottom scoring player. If this was the case Meow would have won easy.

its only my opinion but haven't really ever agreed with the round off rule. Where have you ever seen a football competition where that is in place. For a team to score more but not to win just doesnt sound right ??? no matter how different from other comps you want to be....

Also think its part of the game to avoid playing guys who have the chance of being vested. Thats something that is strategic and brings more thought to the game. So even though your comp m8 i'd vote oppisite on both rule's...

the rounding will be reviewed and probably changed. Not sure if its that simple for the vest thing. In that game where SJ came on got 1 than a red vest that basically nullified the home ground advatnatage.

dont all teams play the same amount of home grounds though?? so all's the difference would go on is what the player scored.... would keep it more interesting if injuries where still involved. unless im missing something :-\

I disagreed with the 'rounding draw' rule from the start, I think we should do what the Worlds do and simply add a point to the winning side if it happens like it did in this case. However since it has been in place for the entire season (and used several times) I would be disappointed if it was ignored/changed during the finals.

yes will be changed next year from all this feedback. I still like it but this is a democracy not a dictatorship. This year it stands.

Yeah it's a home a draw finished it though... :/

I feel your pain Scrads :(

Heavy favourite for the majority of the year, won the minor premiership with just the one loss. Was the highest scoring team in the process, averaging 154.3 points per game. Won the first game of the finals, then in the prelim on the weekend pulled out my second lowest score for the year of 137 and lost :(
