Yeah well Ponting is one of the best ODI batsmen ever...
Your argument is flawed as it can be applied to any situation.  One performance does not a man make. Forrest is a gun though ill give you that.

PB - SL beat Aussies once. Am I missing something?

So now they've lost to them by 5 runs in only their 3rd match in the country, then beaten them comphrensively by 9 wickets and rolling them for 120ish, and now chased down 280 against an XI that is probably the 2nd best the selectors will play (minus Watson)
I think Sri Lanka are a pretty darn good ODI side, who wen tthrough a rough trot before. ;)

They now sit top of the table, something not many would've predicted at the start of the series. Especially since Australia are the World no. 1s and India are the World Cup holders.

Haha, very good question CF, surprised it was never asked before. I like to go for the underdog in eveyr cricekt series, is one. No-one gave Sri Lanka a chance. Some of the individuals in the Sri Lankan side. I DISLIKE AUSTRALIAN CRICKET. It's a free country, i have the right too. Makes interesting discussion at school.

All those reasons. There's probably more, but can't remember them. :P

So you could say i don't like any side, or i like all of them. In general i just want good cricket series's which have tight matches, and alot of come from a long way behind wins! :D

Next series it may change, it may stay the same. ;)
