I think Haddin is out of the job now.  :P
What a shame :P Think haddin will still play tests. Clarke loves him.

I too think Haddin should be dropped for Wade (though I'd prefer Paine :( but both as Tasmanians, so I'm happy).

BUT we should acknowledge Haddin has been pretty darn good wicketkeeper/batsmen, hard to follow the acts of Marsh/Healy/Gilchrist....

Why the FLOWER did the selectors drop Travis Birt for Shaun Marsh?! >:(

Out again for a duck.  ::)

Here's a question for people.

40yo Hogg was brought into the T20 team based on performance, regardless of age. Why can't we bring Quiney, Rogers, Hodge, Klinger, Katich into the test team to bat at number three? All of them (except Hodge, but lets face it, he'd still be more than useful) have performed superbly domestically...whats the difference?

I honestly can't see the logic... ???

Who cares? It's for T20, the big monies/attraction.

Placing a "charismatic comeback" player attracts much more attention than a "disgruntled dropped guy forced to play domestic cricket"

Master Q

I laugh at India. They are celebrating like it's NYE. They won 1 T20...

Simple answer for mine c4.

T20 you got a 40yo out in the field for 90 minutes and at the crease once every 15 T20 matches

Test match - 40yo trying to endure a 5 day marathon in the heat, perhaps not.

and RE: Marsh - he shouldn't be dropped, he should be shot.

Anyone of those batsman listed above would have no trouble lasting 5 days. They make it through 4 day first class matches don't they? ;)

I say get Klinger out there. only thing stopping him from playing is that he's in South Australia. His record over the last 3 years is pretty darn good i say.

It's understandble though, after so many losses, a win does good to the morale of the team

They'll definitely take the confidence they gained in that match into the ODIs. I reckon we'll have a massive challenge on our hands now. Tommorow's game at the 'G will be a fantastic opportunity for India to show they mean business (for a change).

He's Victorian. I'm from his area... He just plays for SA as when he was younger he wasn't getting much game time IIRC.
