Forrest out for 66

A good innings no doubt but I don't think it will be enough to sway the selectors in physically dropping one of the Hussey brothers
My mate reckons Forrest is shower. He can shove that up him.

Dan Christian has been a good find, just a slightly inferior version of Dave Hussey (who is god)

He's averaging 52.... so who really cares?

If you're averaging 50+ how can that be anything but bad? It'd be different if he was averaging 50 batting at 7, but he's averaging 50+ at the top of the order...

Well I'll answer with an analogy

Colin Sylvia still managed to average 91 in DT and 96 in SC, yet he was the bane of "black list" threads (apart from Higgins)

How is that even relevant? Sylvia was black listed because of how many games he misses out every season, always injured.

Sylvia also started out a house on fire then mellowed right out. Neither of these apply to Warner...

You're beginning to appear like you have no idea.
I have to agree with Nails on this one.
Its like me saying OMG Barlow is scoring well but he scores bad some weeks so trade him out.
Warner is the future of Australian cricket. Watch out.

Apparently 90% of channel nine's viewers think resting Hussey and Sachin was ridiculous  :o

When did Australians get so dumb?

How was it NOT ridiculous?

Well, for starters

Tendulkar is in awful form, a small rest might do him the world of good. He just isn't dangerous when he comes out to bat

Michael Hussey has probably had a long summer too.

Keep in mind that they're both 38 and 36 respectively. Bodies slow down at that age

Hussey WANTED to play, he said it himself. They DO get a rest, it's called Sri Lank v.s. India.

It's not like a test where they play 5 days straight, this is nice and easy for the boys. Hussey is also in form, when you're in form you don't want to get dropped. It's a joke.

Whilst Tendulkar may be in bad form for HIS standard, he's still batting better than the MAJORITY of the Indians.

What a joke.
Don't say that the Sri Lanka games are rest games, coz they aren't. I'm not sure about the changes to the Australian line-up, looks like the new selectors have thrown out the "never change a winning team" theme.

Tendulkar hasn't made a century for nearly 12 months now, and most of the other Indian batsmen have managed to do that (correct me if i'm wrong :P). But the main reason that people aren't happy with Tendulkar and Hussey aren't playing is that they want to see them play, not neccessarily because it's the right thing to do by both teams.

Nails

My point was Hussey IS resting when India play Sri Lanka....

It's a rest day for him...

As Australia v.s. Sri Lanka is enough of a rest for Tendulkar.

Ahhh, sorry. Thought you meant that Sri Lanka are a waste of space in this competition. :) Fair point.

PowerBug

LOL!! Great for the competition though. And the 112m six o_O GO Dhoni for winning the game for the Indians.

bomberboy0618

6-2 Australia's way now.
I wonder how many Indians will forgive the test series if India wins this triseries?

BratPack

Well. We lost. And why? 2 Reasons

1) Dhoni's 6

and

2) Because Michael Clarke is a knob

Well. We lost.
Because Michael Clarke is a knob

He is still there and unfortunately we cannot do anything about it

his hamstring could keep him out of a couple of games tho hopefully

He can bat though... Maybe if we tape his mouth?
