So we have all locked in the trio of gibbs, goddard and lids.

My question is who is the next best backman?
Scotland
Shaw
Suckling
Birchall
Fisher

Can't chooose between them

Chopps

Holz

if hartlett is a back as monty has predicted i think it could be him.

All except Scotland can give u a nice 100 one wk and 50/60 the nxt and may do that alot..scotland is a good bet but Shaw and Birchall would b the best 2 i reckon cant split em

Currently I'm running with a backline premium quartet of
Godd, Gibbs, Lids, Broughton but that'll change more than likely before round 1.

Same here, with Waters as my 5th mid.
Until we know more about the multi-bye rounds, I wont be picking a 4th premium that will also be missing in rnd 13.

Yoshi

I'm running with Heppell as my 4th back for now, he'll probably end up being my 7th back by years end. Hoping Heppell will give consistant scores where all the others can be up & down.
As for your list if Shaw can keep those loose screws attaching his head on he'd be my pick followed by Scotland, Suckling, Birchall, Broughton.

i think we are all forgetting that carlton, port, hawthorn, st kilda, richmond along with gc, have the bye in rd 13. If like shown on the fanplanner and we have 2 benchmen, you could only have a maximum of 3 players (if you use dpp in mids )from your team in one position, therefore we cannot have a line up of gibbs scotland goddard deledio hartlett etc

scotty_222

i reckon bock will be up there next year..
he was coming good towards the end of the year,
now with warnock playing the lockdown roll.
this will give bock the chance to play the type of footy that means
lots of points

Windigo

What about Deledio?

Surely he will still be mid/def for next year?

Football Factory

Scotland, Shaw and Suckling in that order. But i will have Gibbs so unlikely i will have 2 premium Carlton backs untill the bye is over

Jukes

Never had Heath Shaw before, and I'll be staying that way. Heath Scotland to reprise his role in my DT from last year, so I'll have the same 4 gun defenders as last year.

Jukes

Just heard Gibbs will only be a midfield next year, farkkkk

theflyinghawk

it doesnt say he wont be a back, it just says he wont be dpp, please be a back :(
