I personally think Jack Trengove.

He is a natural leader and just a plain gun. Even at a young age people looekd up to him and he always gives his support to others. I read that in the 2009 draft camp, when he was doing the beep test, he was encouraging everyone to kepp pushing and selectors think that because of trenners, some player ran about .6 longer.

Can you think of a player who was given captaincy at a young age and wasn't a good player?

But if not Trenners this year, I reckon Brad Green for one more year and then give Jack Trengove the honour.

So who do you guys think and why?

Green. Keep the pressure off the kids as long as possible so that they can continue to develop.

Jack Trengove would be a teriffic leader and has already proved that by showing his maturity and leadership but before trengove i think frawley or grimes

I want to see a Nathan Jones option. He is also young, good leader and all that. Maybe as a Vice to Trengove/Grimes in the coming years.

Ringo

I would not like to see Trengove as Captain this year.  Let him consolidate under Green or Grimes and get his game to the next level and then give him the C

Brent Moloney should take the Captaincy role, with either Grimes/Green as vice.. and ease Trengrove into the captaincy position ina few years
