all i can say is WOW  :o
Only 2 english clubs in the last 16 and man u had the best chance of winning i belive and what about lyons score line to somehow sneak into the last 16  :o

lyon were never guaranteed to go through even with that scoreline

they had to hope Real won by 2 goals as well

the goal difference at the start of the night was -7

so they had to score at least 7 goals and hoped Real won the game by at least a goal

Lyon went into its final Group D game three points behind Ajax and needing to make up a goal difference of seven if it was to reach the knockout rounds.

Bit extreme. Wenger is fine coach- give him until his contract expires at least. Ramsey is a great young player. Other three are showere (Walcott could be worth a few $$$ though). Defence needs a revamp and get a couple of players who can actually help out RVP/Song, like a playmaker and a striker.

IMO, I even said it at the start of the season, I don't think Ramsey is ever gonna get that good (partly to do with that leg break). He has been playing average for most of the season apart from a few goals. When he gets the ball he butchers it at least half the time. He flowered up against Swansea single handedly. Gave away the penalty and lose the ball stupidly that resulted in another goal. That's why Rosicky has recently started ahead of him behind the strikers in the EPL. I suppose Ramsey is still young but atm and there might be a chance for him to develop into top class. Jacky boy is the one to look out for when his back. Oxlade is the best!
