The ‘window’ that everyone in sports talks about, has never really opened for Pav.

Aside from that 9 game streak to end 2006, no one has ever seriously mentioned the Dockers as a premiership contender.

All the while Pavlich has been Pavlich.

Exactly Cic.  That's the whole point of the article - its not just blowing smoke up Pav's ass but comparing him to the other champion CHF in the game and pointing out the difference.  I would love for Pav to be a 3-time premiership player for Freo (ok, I will settle for 1)

Thanks for the article Valk - Makes good reading.  Did not realise just how close these guys were stats wise.  Pav has slightly the better due to the amount of time he has to go to the midfield but hey all in all not much separating these 2 great players.  Hopefully Pav gets the chance to play more finals football prior to retirement.
