I'm a bit worried about Gilbee and Burgoyne... alternatives?

I would agree with the comments on back line.  You could choose Gibbs, if you don't read much into his shoulder surgery.  Bock/Newman would also be strong choices.

J.Ziebel will miss the opening round so just take that into account.  I reckon D.Shiels will be a lock in 90% of teams when preseason starts. 

Rucks look good, but maybe a year or two early on NicNat (thats just my opinion).

The forward line you've gone

2 x potential premium (zaha & waite)
1 x break out player (watts)
3 x fallen premiums (didak, brown, nriewoldt)

I reckon you might need a few proven premiums to the forward line like Franklin, Pavlich, etc..

I think J.Patton & J. Lisle might not be worth the price for what they will average.  At least Folau will be base price.

Gilbee will be lucky to play at all in 2012.

I Agree with 13tpm, Gilbee may struggle to get a regular senior game. Just depends what the new coach has planned for him. May play him in a different role, pre-season games with reveal more.

Backs: I would upgrade Gilbee to either Heath Shaw or Sam Fisher. Would look fine after that i believe.

Mids: Don't like Ziebell as your fourth midfielder. This might seem a little crazy, but i believe he is over-priced at 426K I'd look at spending extra a taking someone in the 500-600 zone. E.g. Hodge, Watson, Bartel, Montagna, Cotchin, Cross.

Rucks: I'd personally try and free up some coin and upgrade NicNat to Sandilands, Cox, Goldstein or Leuenberger. I like having two Prem Rucks as i've been burn too many times in the past taking 1 x Prem and 1 x Mid.

Fwds: Like Zaharakis, he's in for a big year i reckon...could explode. Nick Riewoldt is super cheap if he can find his pre 2011 form. Sorry i have no confidence in the remainder of the forwards you have chosen. J.Brown and J.Waite haven't played a full season for...i can't remember how long. Definitely couldn't have both of them in the one team. A.Didak looked completely out of sorts last year, no thanks. Jordan Lisle, i barrack for Hawks and he showed some glimpses of talent at Hawthorn last year. Just not sure where he plays if J.Brown is fit and these other young Lion forwards like Cornelius and Karnevis start in the 22. Lisle may play back, definite no for SC if that occurs. Jack Watts...not sure i can take a punt on him yet, he's got an abundance of talent and is going to be a future star...but i just cant put him in my SC just yet.

Maybe have a looked at trading out J.Wait for J.Porplyzia...yes the Porpus is also injury-prone, but comes with a lot smaller price tag.
