Wells may miss round 1, what do you guys think.

I guess its lucky with have a deep midfield but no JZ and possibly no wells we could be in trouble against Essendon now, with our mid advantage gone. Hopefully this will let Anthony back into the team.

Its a big starting blow for NM considering this is supposed to be their Season

roo boys!

It's not that bad. Considering it can be a life threatening illness...I think he got off fairly likely.

I never really expected him to play round 1, but there is still a fair chance he may.

If he doesn't play round 1, I really hope he isn't the difference between winning or losing against Essendon :-X Anyone else I could probably bear a round 1 loss....but not the Bombers :P

exactly is lucky he is even thinking about playing round 1, beating Essendon without jz and wells would be great

Torpedo10

Never thought North ever had a big advantage in their Mids but If Wells is out it will hurt North. I think it was very even but with Wells and Jack Ziebell out it will have to be a high standard game by North to win.

Yeah but if you do that we'll just say it's because Gumby didn't play. :P

Ziplock

Swallow for 60 possessions? :P

I think we could see liam anthony step up to the plate here.

Anthony 60 touches, if there is no wells or JZ, swallow is going to pick up the hardest tag of his life.

Ziplock

this is his 110+ dt average season, he's going to dominate the tag.

besides, essendon blow :P

Seriously couldn't agree more with both points in this post! It's a shame I can only give you one cheer per hour :P

TheMailman

I don't know if 2012 will be a 110+ one for Swallow

He's a mighty fine player though and will be up there soon in the next 1-2 years

Ringo

In SC this year Swallows average was 110.9 so I can see no reason why he won't average 110+ this year.  Only concern will be if Ziebell takes points off him.

JZ will lift his game but im pretty sure the team as a whole will earn alot more points, we all know the top teams win more points and i think most people will agree that the roos will likely move up the ladder in the next few years.

TheMailman

I was talking about DT like Zip was  :P

Ziplock

seriously- Andrew Swallow,  2012, 110+ DT average barring injury.

You heard it here first :P
